A few people have mentioned Cahoot but I worry that (being part of Santander) they will have the same penchant for blocking transfers out as Santander do, in the name of security.  I really dislike going through the whole interrogation thing just to get money out.

FWIW I've never had any issues with Cahoot, no blocked payments or anything and payments in/out have always been instant.

That being said I've never had a single blocked payment with Santander either, the most stringent I've had is them sending a OTP, and I currently use them as one of my main nominated accounts for savings.

Same here with Cahoot and Santander, as well as the latter being my main account.

Same here. I've never had any issues with Santander and Cahoot. I'm relatively new to Cahoot, but have been Santander customer since 2012.

Branch/post version is still available though at the same rate (though will reduce to 4.8% from tomorrow and the account, once opened, can be managed online)

Santander Easy Access Saver interest credited today - £600 plus, takes me well over £1000 for the current year.
An indication of how much I used it when the interest rate was 5.20%.

I selected the monthly option, and today's interest deposit was the grand sum of 9p 

An indication of how much I didn't use it, when the rate dropped

Of note from 27/9/24 the following rates will change:

I had the notice from Paragon re the interest rate changes on 16 September to my existing triple access accounts. I was intending to change both the ISA and access accounts to double access ones. On the site, however, I can only see one rate for each account which is, I assume, the rate from now to 16th Sept - anyone have these accounts and know what the rates post this change date will be? Or can point me to the bit of their website with that info which I’ve failed to find! Thanks

As their rate changes are set to happen on 16th September is this already set to fall then?

It isn't listed in their list of interest rate cuts from 16/9/24 document so I doubt it is set to fall then.
