The 4th of July Cynergy issue 68 goes from 5.15% to 5% according to the email I received.
Can anyone tell me if there's a further reduction in rate on Cynergy issue 68 this month? I've been hunting through my emails, but can't find it.
It is, as far as I know, still on 5%, but remember that includes a 1.15% bonus that only lasts a year from when you opened it, and anniversaries will start coming up soon for many.

This is why I set up some new ones every few months so I could ladder them still, and still get the compounding from closing them.
  • Pleasantly surprised that they chose to not reduce the existing issue and that it's still at 5.2%.

before anyone asks if you can have both issues at the same time...
You can have a maximum of two cahoot Sunny Day Saver accounts – one in your sole name and one that you hold jointly with someone else.
I've just opened it, e-mail confirmation with account number arrived immediately.  So you can definitely open it, but  they might switch it to a cahoot Savings Account, we'll see what happens.

I received the email on 14th Aug, saying the reduction will happen on 16th Sept. Depends on when you opened the account, perhaps?

Very nice indeed - but IIRC, the rate only lasts for 12 months from account opening. I have diaried mine for expiry sometime in Jan 25
