This from Hampshire Trust Bank:
“We recently decreased the rate on our Easy Access Account for new customers to 4.65% AER gross variable. As an existing customer, we will keep your current rate of 4.90% AER gross variable until 3 October. After this date, the rate on your account will be reduced to 4.65% AER gross variable.”

I received the email on 14th Aug, saying the reduction will happen on 16th Sept. Very nice indeed - but IIRC, the rate only lasts for 12 months from account opening. I have diaried mine for expiry sometime in Jan 25
