At 4.81% I've still not needed to use this account. With Chase boosted saver at 4.85, Coventry Triple access at 4.95 and Ulster 5.2 untill mid October, I doubt many on here will have a use for it. There are probably other NLA accounts also beating it at the moment.mebu60 said:2 -
No it doesn't! All base rate trackers will be impacted on 19/9 if the BoE reduces the base rate again! Whereas non-trackers may or may not change at any time.ColdIron said:0 -
Yes I take your point, I misread your post thinking the tracking rate would end or change from -0.19%. But that's the nature of all trackers and it will still be -0.19%. Of course some like Chase have a variable tracking rateI'm pleased I opened it, it's a nice account to have tucked up your sleeve, but as Middle_of_the_Road says I haven't had much use for it other than keeping a token amount in it and feeding the FA Bonus Saver and Regular SaverPerhaps its day in the sun will happen further down the road1

Like you I've had a token amount (£1) in the Skipton BRT and used it to feed through to the Bonus Saver and RS. However, it got its day in the sun today when the Single Access reduced below the BRT. I'm waiting to see what happens on the 19th, if anything, before I start moving funds around more generally. Some other accounts currently sitting with £1 or so may well come back into play.ColdIron said:Yes I take your point, I misread your post thinking the tracking rate would end or change from -0.19%. Can anyone tell me if there's a further reduction in rate on Cynergy issue 68 this month? I've been hunting through my emails, but can't find it.SeriousHoax said:The 4th of July Cynergy issue 68 goes from 5.15% to 5% according to the email I received.0 -
It is, as far as I know, still on 5%, but remember that includes a 1.15% bonus that only lasts a year from when you opened it, and anniversaries will start coming up soon for many.pearl123 said:
