Did they not get the memo out in Kent that it was a 0.25% reduction not 0.75%?!
Wait to see what happens with BoE on 19 September but I expect on 20th when KR reductions come into play I will have several accounts currently with £1 that will come into play again.2 -
Can't answer the question but you can find their current rates for "Closed Issue Accounts" on their web site. The one I downloaded recently says "Rates correct at 23 August 2024."SonOfPearl said:Leeds BS Limited Issue Online Access Account Issue 55 (NLA) 5.1%
Has Leeds made any announcement about a reduction to the rate of this account, or indeed any other of their accounts? I haven't read anything yet.

Just a reminder: Post Office Online Saver Issue 72 interest rate drops today from 5.06% to 4.96% (Gross/AER) (comprising underlying rate and a bonus rate that is fixed for 12 months from account opening).
I am not sure when other Online Saver issues change rate.1 -
I'm waiting to see what they do to this one too - their site says they're still deciding on rate changes.SonOfPearl said:Leeds BS Limited Issue Online Access Account Issue 55 (NLA) 5.1%

I'm confused. The old account is the instant access and is a tracker.fletcher1985 said:chip lowering rate on easy access to 4.01 on 12th september and new easy access account with 3 withdrawls at 4.84%0 -
i was confused as well but if you go on chip its a new savings account that is 4.07% now i think and it will go to 4.84% on 6th september but if you withdraw more then 3 times a year it drops to 2.97% for the rest of the year. so its nor really a easy access account anymore i will be looking around now.

But the old instant access is still paying 4.58%. Not sure why anyone would go for the easy access account paying 4.07%.fletcher1985 said:i was confused as well but if you go on chip its a new savings account that is 4.07% now i think and it will go to 4.84% on 6th september but if you withdraw more then 3 times a year it drops to 2.97% for the rest of the year. so its nor really a easy access account anymore i will be looking around now.
