Have Kent Reliance announced any forthcoming drops in their interest rates? I see issue 67 of their EA saver still shows 5.11% on their website and no indication that it is reducing anytime soon.
The website now shows lower rates on Easy Access Account issues 70 and earlier with effect from 20 September.

    Issue 70 reduces 0.25% from 4.96% to 4.71%

    0.75% reductions:
    Issue 69 5.05% to 4.30%
    Issue 68 5.07% to 4.32%
    Issue 67 5.11% to 4.36%
    Issue 66 5.06% to 4.31%
    Issue 65 5.01% to 4.26%

    Issue 72 (current) remains 4.25%.
    Issue 71 remains 4.50%.

I don't intend to check the previous 64 issues.
    Thanks @Cold_comfort.

Did they not get the memo out in Kent that it was a 0.25% reduction not 0.75%?!

Wait to see what happens with BoE on 19 September but I expect on 20th when KR reductions come into play I will have several accounts currently with £1 that will come into play again.

Leeds BS Limited Issue Online Access Account Issue 55 (NLA) 5.1%

Has Leeds made any announcement about a reduction to the rate of this account, or indeed any other of their accounts? I haven't read anything yet.
Can't answer the question but you can find their current rates for "Closed Issue Accounts" on their web site. The one I downloaded recently says "Rates correct at 23 August 2024."

Just a reminder:  Post Office Online Saver Issue 72 interest rate drops today from 5.06% to 4.96% (Gross/AER) (comprising underlying rate and a bonus rate that is fixed for 12 months from account opening).

I am not sure when other Online Saver issues change rate.

I'm waiting to see what they do to this one too - their site says they're still deciding on rate changes.

I'm confused. The old account is the instant access and is a tracker.
  • i was confused as well but if you go on chip its a new savings account that is 4.07% now i think and it will go to 4.84% on 6th september but if you withdraw more then 3 times a year it drops to 2.97% for the rest of the year. so its nor really a easy access account anymore i will be looking around now.

But the old instant access is still paying 4.58%. Not sure why anyone would go for the easy access account paying 4.07%.

Because the old one is dropping to 4.01% in 14 days.
