Oxbury
How quick are withdrawals? Are they instant?

Mentioned earlier. Instant withdrawals.

It's an implementation of 2FA, needs an app and a browser on another device. Rather more secure than the far more common SMS to a phone (assuming that the mobile device/app are decently secured).

Not for me, I opened and funded an account yesterday evening. Deposit showed immediately but when I made a withdrawal it showed
"withdrawals made after 1pm Monday to Friday or on a weekend or public holiday will be processed on the next working day"
update:
A withdrawal requested last night at about 8pm arrived in linked account today at 3pm.
A withdrawal requested at 8am today arrived in linked account at 3:04pm.

I have a Virgin Money "Exclusive Flexi ISA2" which has been NLA for some time. The interest rate on it is not terrible at 4.11% but I've just noticed that this rate is only on balances up to £25,000. There is no indication of the rate paid above that and I have almost £30,000 in it. I have Googled but cannot find what rate I am getting on nearly £5,000. Does anyone know?
I think I'll open a fixed rate elsewhere and do a partial transfer but I'd like to get an idea of what position I'm currently in!

My wife has this account. I'm not aware of any limits, but just googled it to be sure. "No, the 4.11% rate is not limited to £25,000; it applies to your entire balance up to the standard maximum limit allowed by Virgin Money, which is £2 million across their accounts"

Thank you. That's a relief. I wonder whether its a bug in the app, I've certainly never noticed before, but actually all of my savings accounts with Virgin when you select "Account Information" give the interest rate and say "On Balances Up to £25,000" even the Regular Saver.

Thanks.
That rules me out, then.

The Oxbury app is more like an authenticator app for use when logging into the web/browser based webportal. Its also a bit of a nusiance when you buy a new smartphone as the app has to be deregistered from the old one and then you need to go through the process of re-registering the app on your new smartphone.
