Are you sure your 25k is earning 5%. Seems to reduce as you go increasingly over 24k.
16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Installed 29/9/2015 - £4700 (Norfolk Solar Together Scheme); 9.6kWh US2000C Pylontech batteries + Solis Inverter installed 12/4/2022 Year target (PVGIS-CMSAF) = 3880kWh - Installer estimate 3452 kWh:Average over 6 years = 4400 :j0 -
Really? How?

you always get 5% on the £25k, but in reality Revolut pay the displayed rate over the entire balance of your savings account(s) and to help with the confusion, I think the displayed rate lags behind too (not a live calculation).. for example, i've just withdrawn £23.40 in interest - so now have exactly £25k in there - the displayed rate is still showing as 4.95% (which I think it was when the £23.40 was in there), but assume rate will change overnight to 4.99% (as the account will have generated another £3.35 ish of interest by that time).
i've not doubled checked this in Excel (not least cos we would be talking pennies), but I have no reason to worry about the rate i'm getting.

look at the rate you are getting. I have 24.3k in there and am getting 4.99. I think it was something like 4.95 or less when I put 25k in.

I believe it's 5.00% AER which equates to approx 4.88% Gross if credited daily and left to compound… the AER probably adjusts down after taking into account the projected interest up to a certain point (probably 4th December)… in other words, it looks like the 25k limit for 5.00% AER includes that projected interest, so have to undercut the principal by the projected interest (approx 5.5 months) and let it nudge up to 25k through the daily interest credits, i.e. don't withdraw… that would be my guess…

Skipton Member Easy Access Saver 4.25%
I don’t think there’s a table for loyalty easy access savers, but in case it’s useful to anyone I was offered this when my Skipton Bonus Saver 12 matured. I like the Skipton accounts because you can make regular payments from them, and the rate is competitive with the TOTP table.
