I believe that was only a promotional offer available until January 2026 - those who qualified get the boosted rate until end of July… so no longer available.

ahh ok thanks, I was still able to open one today, surprised I didn't notice it earlier !

I was also able to open one today, which is now showing with 4.5%.
However, according to the terms I was asked to agree to, the offer has expired and I am not eligible for it.
There is also a term suggesting that you are not eligible if you previously held an account with Clearbank, which I had, via Chip. It’s all quite opaque and I will probably not use the account whilst I still have my boosted 4.45% at Zopa.

Coventry BS 3 Access - 4.25% 'Tri' £1min has disappeared from moneyfacts suggesting it's about to go NLA
To be replaced by Coventry BS 4 Access Saver - 1 Year at 4.15%

This is what I did for myself. I didn't even have the app because I prefer using websites but I was trying to talk my mum through the opening process on the phone (as she already has a cynergy account and the app is easier for her to use) but she couldn't find any way to open a new account. In the end I downloaded the app to try and talk her through it and couldn't find an option either, hence the question.
I thought the whole idea of apps were that they were meant to replace the using of websites. That won't work if they don't give apps full functionality.

Thanks. I do like Coventry BS but I wish they wouldn't chop and change their accounts so much. They are always doing it.

Hi, Has anyone used Tembo yet?
I'm guessing the only annoyance will be them trying to sell me a mortage?

Monument
I just had an email from Monument stating: Your £200 Loyalty Reward is confirmed. We'll pay it by 16 March 2026. Great news!
Reward FAQs are here if anyone wants to check why they did or didn't receive it:

On the plus side, if they increase rates again, which I guess there's a chance of given developments, they'll do it automatically without needing a fresh account application etc.
