Hope it's not a stupid question
Just got access to my Cahoot Saving account (opened when the interest offered was 4.4%) - is it normal that the interest showed in the account is 4.31%? I assume they show the gross interest?0 -
Yes, that's normal if you choose the monthly option.Alicon88 said:Hope it's not a stupid question

Yes, If you went for annual interest it would have shown 4.4%. Most providers will display gross if the interest is paid monthly.Alicon88 said:Hope it's not a stupid question

shirley999 said:Thanks. They've done this by reducing the bonus interest rate on accounts opened from 8th January by 0.1%. The standard variable rate hasn't changed yet following the December base rate cut.
I've got an account opened between 16th September and 8th December 2025 with a minimal balance which has a 3.15% bonus making the total AER on that account 4.2% AER.I came, I saw, I melted6 -

Have they? I have Coventry 4 Access Saver - 1 Year dropping from 4.3% to 4.15% wef 20:01:26.
Good, Conventry have dropped their 4 access to 3.5% which is rubbish
I suspect the 1 year version did not get such a big cut because it only lasts a year.
EDIT
No I think I must have the 4 access which is dipping to 4.15% I had 2 emails from Coventry, must've got confused0 -
They send you an email for each account you have so maybe you have both?oz0707 said:
