As a user pf both, Zopa and Cahoot, I feel there is substantially more faff about Cahoot. Just alone the need for a login OTP for Cahoot is a PITA (unless you faff it further with a version of the Santander app). A once monthly deposit into the Zopa current account is only a very tiny faff IMO.ircE said:I have excluded Zopa @ 4.75%, the faff associated with it goes against the spirit of True easy access imo.
I also don't consider the Chase 4.5% account tops because it is not available to everyone. Similar for Chip.

Is the 'new' Kent Rel platform speedier than the previous version? I'm currently on the original version and it's far from InstantircE said:
* Kent Reliance is tied with Revolut @ 3.51%, I go by the order on the Moneyfacts website.True EA entries are easy access savings accounts which can be opened, and pay the headline interest rate, with a minimum balance of no more than £10. These accounts allow unlimited withdrawals. The table includes accounts with time-limited bonus rates and accounts restricted to new customers - but excludes fee-charging accounts, accounts limited to smaller balances, and accounts only available via savings marketplaces. Instant True EA entries are those True EA accounts which advertise immediate deposit and withdrawals 24/7. Highlighted entries show changes since last time: blue for new entries, green for rate increases, and red for rate falls.I have excluded Zopa @ 4.75%, the faff associated with it goes against the spirit of True easy access imo.Next base rate decision day is next Thursday 6th.
Yes, totally instant 24/7. Superb enhancement1 -
Indeed. I was surprised when I did it. Hopefully they will maintain their 4.41% IA rate (NLA) once my cahoot dropsKent RelianceYes, totally instant 24/7. Superb enhancement1 -
Can someone with a Kent Reliance Iss 83 EA confirm the rate still 4.41% AER for £1000+.I let my balance go low so it's currently showing 0.10%.0

Faff with ZOPA, what Faff ? Using their app and small funding requirement is simple. I think by excluding ZOPA you are eliminating the best instant True EA a/c available today to everyone, whereas Chase is only available to a select few.ircE said:

I agree that Zopa isn't a faff, but it does call for £500 per month to be deposited in current account monthly, which does exceed the minimum balance of £10 to be included in @ircE tables.exel1966 said:

@ircE I do appreciate what you are doing. Not sure if you can include for new customers only for some accounts in your table.

But £500 is not the minimum balance, it's the minimum deposit that can be withdrawn straight away.ToastLady said:

I wouldn't describe 2 simple transactions once a month as "faff"friolento said:

. Even "a very tiny faff" is too strong for Zopa, would be more suitable for Cahoot
I was paying in £300, now will be paying in £500, £300 will go to RS and £200 back to Cahoot (only 1 extra transaction for me). I won't be using Zopa EA whilst I have better rate elsewhere, but will keep it as a backup as well as Ulster - this proved to be a good practice.

@ircE I do appreciate what you are doing. Not sure if you can include for new customers only for some accounts in your table. There is no minimum balance in any Zopa account. The £500 doesn't need to stay in the Zopa current account for more than a second.3
