NLA = No Longer Available 😉

Well, obviously I was just helping those who don't know what NLA stands for. 😁

Fair enough, though I'd've thought it was a common abbreviation on this thread, and it is one of the ones defined on p1 of the no chat version of this thread (which is the same page that the listing itself was on).

Has anyone else been having problems with Zopa? I keep getting failed validation checks when applying, but trying to chat to a helpful support person is like hitting a brick wall. First agent told me to uninstall & reinstall, despite me asking them to check my details match, I’m now currently 2 hours into the chat still waiting for someone to help me sort it, they don’t seem to understand anything. It takes several minutes to get each reply.

Quango and radar, like scuba, are anacronyms, i.e. have evolved into nouns so no longer require capitalisation. Odeon is not an acronym but derived from the ancient Greek oideion meaning a place for musical performance.

SNAFU I would suggest is still an acronym but it's not a TLA like NLA.

    (TLA = three letter acronym).

I had similar issues earlier - restarting the application when part way through for no apparent reason, requesting validation / ID check multiple times, etc.  I gave up in the end, as I wasn't convinced I wanted to hold my money with them after that sort of start, so can't offer you any potential solution I'm afraid, but just thought I'd let you know that you're not alone...

Is it standard practice for Cahoot to ask for proof of ID and address every time you open a new account, even for existing customers? I have two accounts already and also a Santander current account and they're once again asking me to upload documents.

I have never had that, and I open new Cahoot accounts regularly. I have around 15 Cahoot accounts currently. I also have many Santander accounts.
