Snoop Easy Access Savings (Issue 1) paying 4.6% went NLA today - to be replaced by Issue 2 paying 4.30%... so possible that emails / app notifications will be sent shortly if existing accounts will be reduced in line.allegro120 said:
Even 4.6% is too low. Snoop pays 4.6% without complicated conditions.frosch411 said:
Yeah, just seen this in the app (cos I saw a post on the No chat thread about this and checked in the app as I hadn't received notice about this yet).13zero8 said:Flippin eck.... Atom Instant Saver Reward dropping by a whopping 0.6% from 4.60% to 4.00%.
Bye bye Atom, it's been good.
This is really a big drop..not sure I want to stay at this rate..shame really 😖
@soulsaver - i'll mention you although I know it's not one for your top 10, it might be worth a post in the no-chat thread.
I’m sure we’ll be bombarded by notifications in the next couple of weeks. I’ve already had a series of reduction notifications today, all for accounts I don’t use anymore. Whilst the rates are on decline my margin seems to be increasing. 10 days ago I was actively using 4.6% and 4.55% for EAs, now almost all of my none-ISA money is fetching 5% and above.

My atom interest gets paid in 2 days time. I think i'm gonna just wait until I see some good offers. I cant get the chase 5% because I already had an account ages ago from them0

you could put £3k in a Cahoot Sunny Day Saver and get 5% for at least the next couple of months.porcorosso said:My atom interest gets paid in 2 days time. I think i'm gonna just wait until I see some good offers. I cant get the chase 5% because I already had an account ages ago from them2 -
for those who upgraded their Cahoot accounts recently, it might be worth checking your mailbox on the site / app as I found four 32-page documents waiting for me there, entitled "Your Savings Account Upgrade".tg99 said:Hi, I probably missed this amongst previous posts but can anyone clarify when the 5% 12 month term runs from re the upgraded cahoot sunny day accounts. I upgraded mine yesterday, they are all showing the correct sunny day rate and the account opening date shown is the original date the account was opened eg I upgraded the first cahoot savings account I opened in 2023 and it still shows this date as the opening date. I can’t see anywhere a reference to a 2 April opening date.Welcome to your new Cahoot Sunny Day SaverWe’re pleased to confirm that we’ve upgraded your account to the Cahoot Sunny Day Saver.
Here’s what you need to know about your new account. Please read these documents and keep them for your records.
You can keep using your account details as normal.they are effectively running for 12 months from the date of upgrade, so the opening dates not being changed is nothing to worry about.13 -
As I've kept all my Simple & Sunnyday accounts, I've upgraded all 5 of the old accounts! They are now all (7) showing as Sunnyday savers @ 5% (4.89%) monthly. I will be funding them all to the max soon as a few RS maturing.tg99 said:
Could be that the 5% 12 month term for the upgraded accounts just starts from the day of upgrade? As one of my upgraded accounts is set to monthly interest I’ll at least be able to check early on that I am actually getting paid the true 4.89% (5%) rate.SJMALBA said:It looks like there may be some inconsistencies with Cahoot's upgrades?
FWIW, my two Simple Saver upgrades both show the correct rate (4.89% monthly), but each has the original accounts' opening dates, so one expires in a couple of months, the other in May next year.~ NSD 2026 Challenge January 2/20 (1)# No.2 Save 1p A Day Challenge 2026 £59.17 / £667.95 (1)# No.4 Save £12k in 2026 £0 / £12,000 (1)# No.4 £2 Savers Club 2026 - 25/12 - 24/10 £20 / £200 (1)# No.8 Sealed Pot Challenge 19 - 2026 - 24/12 - 24/10 £50+ / £400 (1)# No.5 Fiver Friday Challenge for 2026 £25/£230 (1)# Make £2026 in 2026 £344.52 / £2026 (1)1 -
