I've managed to open the 5% & 4.5% bush kangaroo accounts. Nice to see Skippy offering some decent rates.

For the  'bush kangaroo accounts', would you mind sharing the name of this bank so I can find out more about it, please?

I’ve just opened a Chase savings account paying 5.0% (variable) for 12 months.  Check out top of the easy savers thread, it’s number 1.

5% (v) for newbies, otherwise it's a boosted 6 month 4.55% (v) for anyone who has already had an account with Chase, making Atom more appealing, unless you intend to withdraw.

Can anyone confirm when Cahoot is paying interest? I have the sunny day saver at 5%, opened on 2nd May but only started to use the account from early June. I just checked and can't see any interest payment. Will it be paid today but only becomes visible tomorrow morning?

I can't remember anymore if I selected monthly or annual interest when I opened the account. In the portal it shows 4.89%, which would indicate monthly interest.

My Sunny is annual, but my monthly Simple Saver shows interest the day after:

    27/05/2025 opened,  28/06/2025 INTEREST PAID
