Apologies if I'm late to the party on this one, but is it common knowledge that Coventry now do same business-day withdrawals? Before today, all my previous withdrawals made from the Coventry were scheduled for the business day following the day I was making the request - e.g. open app on Monday to request a withdrawal and the withdrawal would be scheduled for Tuesday.
Now I see that they have updated the information on their website to say that if you make the request by 5pm on a working day, the withdrawal will go out the same working day. And indeed today I requested a withdrawal at about 10:45 and it was in the destination account by 14:00.15 -
That's a good addition, although not relevant for me. Can I suggest another that is? For regular savers, you can peruse all the offerings to find out how deposits on non-working days are treated. This isn't the case for easy access, which perhaps would be much more relevant if £85,000 is being moved, or in my case the £25,000 minimum for Monument. I'm left wondering whether to open this account this evening (after 8.20 as coming from Santander) and risk it not earning interest until Monday. Similarly, for withdrawals; there is no list of cut-off times for same-day withdrawals, nor of those who don't even provide the facility (I'm looking at you YBS, with your so-called 'easy' access accounts!)soulsaver said:In the ToTP ranks, I've added an 'App Only' indicator 'AO' as requested in an earlier post.
