Edit: Account authenticated after four days waiting for a letter. What I'm not keen on is the login process that isn't password vault friendly, so I might ditch the account and look elsewhere.0 -

What I'm not keen on is the login process that isn't password vault friendly, so I might ditch the account and look elsewhere. When I received the account details I did a £1 transfer, then waited for the nominated account verification letter. After putting in the code from the letter and receiving confirmation via email shortly after I transferred in £1000 and back out the same day. To get money out on the same day you need to make the request before 1pm.Yes the login screen is a PITA. With Linux I can't copy paste, but can do a select, CTRL, drag, drop to do what is needed. Very few websites do this and as far as I can see it is just an annoyance and would actually make people use short simple passwords that they can type in.0 -

Re: Saffron BS
IIRC the level off all their different Esaver account issues to the same rate, avoiding the need to change issues (and extra work for the BS). I went through all the links on their website I could find to look for the closed issue rates but couldn't find anything. Has anyone seen a NLA rates link on their site please?
Just went online instead and checked my account and found it still at 4.25.2 -
Would someone kindly report on how quickly withdrawals are effected on this new Saffron account , especially on non-working days TIA0

My issue 20 is 4.25% AER, no increase.
In my experience all Saffron accounts have the same time frame for withdrawals. My spread sheet is marked as Electronic payments received by 4.30pm will be made available the same day, any received after 4.30pm will be made available by 9am on the next working day. We process payments every two hours between 4am and 8pm (working days only!). Any payments that are made after 8pm will not be received until the next working day.2 -

There is no nominated account against my existing account, so I’ve also asked if they are able to resolve that. Last time I phoned the CS said the account couldn’t be withdrawn from to an external account, which is odd to say the least for an Easy Access.0 -
Apologies if it's been mentioned already (appears to have happened earlier this month but I can't see it referenced in the no chat thread):
Santander Edge Saver Issue 2 NLA. Replaced by Issue 3 at the same rate.
The only difference that I can see is that Issue 3 is 6% consists of a 4% (var) underlying rate and a 2% (var) bonus, whilst Issue 2 consisted of a 4.5% (var) underlying rate and a 1.5% (var) bonus.10
