  • Just a reminder the Skipton BS interest rate cuts come into effect tomorrow. Of note:

Members Bonus Saver (NLA) reduces from 5% to 4.75% on balances of £3k and under.
FA Bonus Saver (NLA) reduces from 4.7% to 4.45%.
My Members Bonus Saver (NLA) had already nose-dived to 3.30% due to end of bonus period, so has been ditched now.

That will become 3.05% post-bonus wef tomorrow.

In my case I refreshed the Skipton Bonus Saver in April 2024 to push the interest payment into the next tax year so I'm clinging onto 4.75% for another month or so.

Just a reminder the YBS Interest rate cuts come into effect tomorrow. Of note:

YBS Rainy Day Acc Issue 2 drops from 4.55% to 4.3% on balances under £10k
For the first time in a long while I have no active YBS accounts, just an old Internet Saver Plus Issue 11 sitting with a £1 in the hope that a worthwhile loyalty product might again appear sometime soon.

That's a shame. I was just about to get into the 'Family way'.

Didn't realise that Hodge Bank have an easy access account (maybe it is new). It's not the best rate (4.29%) payable monthly but I opened one yesterday and was very impressed. Deposits and withdrawals were instant.

    Easy Access - Hodge Bank

Maybe this is one for the Instant True Easy Access Table @ircE

Great catch @Malchester, thanks. I wonder why it doesn't seem to be listed on Moneyfactscompare.

New customers only. Note the 3.50% underlying rate tracks BR.
