Does the interest rate on a Chip Instant Access Rate update from 3.5% straight away? Mine still says 3.5% despite saying successful promo code0

You can have less than £1k in Oxbury, but "If your balance falls below £1,000 after account opening you will not receive interest on the balance." I have a zero balance with Ulster, there's no point having less than £5k in Loyalty Saver because the higher interest is paid only if you have £5k+.janusdesign said:
for the record, you can have less than £1k in Oxbury, Shawbrook etc - it's just that you only get a nominal interest rate... and you can have a zero balance with Ulster if you wanted to.allegro120 said:

Might be useful for some. 4.5% no restrictions.
Edit:

It would be good to have this in the "library", it could become useful at some point, but £1,000 minimum balance is a a downside. This requirement made me close all my Oxbury's accounts, Mansfield 90-days tracker and some others in the past. I kept £5k in Ulster's Royalty for a long time, but that was justified by the account paying the top of the table rate.
wrt to the Notts BS account, reading the KPI, it was launched before the recent base rate change (on 16th January according to archive.org), so any possible rate changes by NBS are not showing in this 4.50% rate and may still get reduced soon.0 -
Has anyone refreshed Santander Edge Saver 6%? Is there any news that they are reducing rates?0

Edit: apologies to @happybagger , just catching up after being away the weekend, should've known someone else would've spotted it already

With Cahoot dropping their rates what’s now the best rate for same day, unlimited access?0
-
their Sunny Day Saver will still be 4.75% for <£3k until the end of March; Ulster Bank will still be 4.5% for a couple of months - but Cahoot's 4.35% is not a bad rate if you want the flexibility of instant transfers.LZC said:With Cahoot dropping their rates what’s now the best rate for same day, unlimited access?

Have I missed something? My spreadsheet says that issues 1 and 2 are dropping from 5% to 4.75% on 31st March and I’ve had no notification for any changes to issue 3.LZC said:With Cahoot dropping their rates what’s now the best rate for same day, unlimited access?1 -
I was thinking the same regarding Cahoot as I’ve only had the same notifications as you @allegro120, and the current Sunny Day Saver is still advertised as 4.75%allegro120 said:
