Opened mine around 10 days ago @ 5.12%. Expecting a drop but not a bad rate at all.GetRichOrDieSaving said:

Furness Double Access Saver (issue 1) has reduced to 4.4% AER from 4.65% from 7th February 2025 it appears according to the interest rate document for no longer available accounts downloadable from hereWhen I log in however it is still showing as 4.65% AER. And my understanding from page 12 of their general savings terms and conditions was that they would give you 14 days notice of a reduction in interest if your account has £100 or more in it, and I've not received notice of a rate cut.Can anyone explain what is going on here?Edit: just checked with Furness and the rate change is 21st February 2025 not 7th February 2025 as shown in the document mentioned.I came, I saw, I melted5

They just made an omission on that pdf sheet saying the date of change is 21st Feb as you've already found out. Emails/letters are going out today if more than £100 in account.SnowMan said:Furness Double Access Saver (issue 1) has reduced to 4.4% AER from 4.65% from 7th February 2025 it appears according to the interest rate document for no longer available accounts downloadable from hereWhen I log in however it is still showing as 4.65% AER. Another omission is on the "still available" list that your link takes you to. The Easy Access that the Christmas RS Iss 1 converted into on maturity is going down 0.1% to 2.25% on 21st Feb too.
Furness do seem to occasionally move their dates forward if they spot errors in their documentation, so I wouldn't be overly surprised if the 21st is not set in stone, but it probably will be
Compiler of the RS League Table.

I can see the top accounts at the moment are Monument and Sidekick, have we heard anything from them about rate drops yet? I took my money out of Chip and now I'm trying to figure out where it should go.0
