So how does this work sorry? A little late to this. So if you uninstall the Santander app then reinstall and put in your cahoot login you can operate cahoot, who don't otherwise have an app? My only issue would be can I also access my Santander accounts on the app if i do this?darren72 said:
I've been able to make transfers to new payees without an issue and also existing payee's if I make an amendment to the reference. For some reason trying to pay an existing payee and leaving all the details as they are fails.flaneurs_lobster said:
That's been my experience. Accessing Cahoot accounts via the app is an undocumented, unsupported "feature". In effect gives "read only" access.Archerychick said:Cahoot loyalty saver
Following this tip, I’ve downloaded the Santander app and have indeed been able to view my account. I however can not do a payment transfer out of my account. I log in OK but when it asked for the one time passcode it doesn’t accept the code sent though via SMS. Is this normal and expected to not work?
I can do the transfer through the website no problems.
Unless someone else has a way to give further functionality?0

Yes, that is correct, or just log out of your Santander app and then login again with your Cahoot details.s71hj said:

You can only have one version of the app installed so you would need to do that each time as you can't see all the accounts via a single login.0

I do have an old phone that I could logout and log back in on as Cahoot login if it was worthwhile and made operating the account easier.darren72 said:

That works a treat! Thank you. Much prefer using the app because it’s easier to view!darren72 said:

Is that right? I've had to uninstall/reinstall & re-register in order to swap from Santander --> Cahoot, at least on Android.Yes, that is correct, or just log out of your Santander app and then login again with your Cahoot details.
You can only have one version of the app installed so you would need to do that each time as you can't see all the accounts via a single login.
Better, if you can, to install the app on a second device (or in/outside the secure space on Samsung/Android 15 devices).0

you can use the Santander Business app on Android to have limited access to Santander personal accounts - you can view balances and move money internally, but not pay out to payees etc... whether you need a business account to login to the business app, I don't know but would assume so.flaneurs_lobster said:

Not quite at the top of accounts but Family Building Society have opened a new Market Tracker at 4.5% - so at the same rate as the one that went NLA earlier this month. As this is just below the 4.52% of the Online Saver recently issued I’d imagine that may be going NLA shortly?1

Anyone have the formerly available Principality Online Bonus Double Access account? Have I overlooked mention regarding interest payment dates - was expecting yearly, from opening date, so c7/4/25, but can see an interest payment went in on 1/1/25? Was considering opening their recent Triple Access offering and shifting across the balance, hence noticed the interest payment sitting.butterfly )i(0

checked my pdf archive and the t&c states the interest is paid annually on 1st January...
I correctly received the interest on that date too.2

Great, thanks, not like me to miss seeing and recording the interest date.butterfly )i(0
