Cynergy most issues seem to be 4.55% now (other than the ones that were already lower rate), but I didn't get the email. Does anyone have the date they were reducing?0

Yet when I go on the charter website and click their easy access link they are showing an account available Easy Access 56 @ 4.57%. Obviously it would be a variable rate but what is going on. Have I not been on the ball enough in updating to the latest rate as you used to have to do at Cynergy or are all the rates coming down soon?
Or are they planning a drop on the 4.57 acc soon too,
As to when they will reduce rates I am wondering if anyone has had an email announcing these rates are dropping soon? I have had one for the issue 47 that is reducing soon. I'd imagine the other are too?0 -
Doubt it. Issue 56 was only launched 2 days ago - https://www.chartersavingsbank.co.uk/media/zapd04fd/01502-savings-interest-summary.pdf0

And the Close Brothers link goes to a "this account no longer available" page:Sorry, this account is not currently availableI just tried applying with Firefox 134, all security turned off, cleared all cookies etc but kept getting an error. Seemed there was an issue with occupation, time at residence and nominated account. Even when I eventually entered everything, still error. So after about 30+ attempts, gave up.Any advice ?How long do withdrawals take with Close Bros ? I'm hoping to have this as a backup, so will deposit £10K, then move £9999 back out as quick as I can.0 -
not one for the @soulsaver list, but I received an email from Ford Money this morning saying that the interest rate of the Flexible Saver will drop from 4.50% AER to 4.35% AER (4.41% to 4.27% monthly) on 26th February.3

Quick question, I opened a GB Bank EA saver a few days ago. Now it is no longer on the MSE list despite being a competitive 4.7% AER. I checked the GB Bank website (https://www.gbbank.co.uk/savings/easy-access) and it now says:"Our Easy Access Account is currently under review and not available to new applications."What exactly does that mean? Who is reviewing it, the FSCS or some other regualtory body? And mainly is it safe to fund my account?
