I've just had some interest paid into a third part current account.

Ive got three accounts with them but online none are showing this interest.

It's the anniversary of my Triple Access Base rate tracker tomorrow so assume it's been paid early and not yet showing on my online statement.

Anyone the same?

No, you haven't slipped through the cracks.  It was possible at the beginning, the requirement of current account was introduced later.  I don't have Ulster current account and not planing to open one unless it becomes necessary.

The 5% rate, however, as anticipated, is variable, so seems pretty poor imo, for such limited access.

Looks like they've copied and pasted from an ISA and forgot to update that part. It doesn't say tax free elsewhere.

Though to be fair out of the EA accounts with a reasonably large max balance that are currently available there's not many that beat its rate and if other rates slip back and PBS hold their rate then it could become useful later on. I'll most likely wait till it's on the verge of going NLA and then open it speculatively with £1 then.
