    Hi all
Santander had a Limited Edition Easy Access at 3.97% that has now dropped to 1.19% for me.
Currently with Santander as far as Easy Access accs go you can get a 1.7% or 2.2% (with max 2 monthly withdrawals) - I don't think these rates are very competitive and would like to avoid to move my funds away.
I've used the Santander online banking chat to let their agents know that their rates are too low and to pass the message to their upper management.I was hoping other Santander customers here could do the same too.
You know what they say about strength in numbers. It may work, if it doesn't what have we lost (apart from some interest of course),
    Regards to all

Many on here will have the 4.2%, 4.0% wef 01:10, EA that runs to 03:07:25 and many of those will only have a nominal amount in it currently.

Actions speak louder than words. But even if every Santander customer on here moved their funds out of the EA I doubt it would move the dial for Santander.

Open a higher paying EA elsewhere and move your funds, it shouldn't take much more time than using the Santander chatbot and posting on here.

Suspect that most Santander customers on here have already moved their money away from these poor-paying accounts.

You could open a Santander Edge current account to get the Edge Saver (7% AER on up to £4K).

I would imagine quite a few would have left a nominal amount in the account; just to make it easier to open an account in future, so this might be Santander trying to get rid of some of the tiny deposits in the accounts!

I've emptied issue 1 as soon as it became uncompetitive, it didn't need a nominal amount. The same for issue 3 - although it says "minimum balance £1", I reduced my balance to £0 on the day when the rate dropped down to 4.2%, the account is still opened.

I didn't see the minimum balance requirement. Mine's got 45p in it.
