    Ah superb, thanks Zbubuman!

I followed your thread, did you have any luck in getting both CCJs in one hearing?

Should I not pay the court until they’ve come back to me saying whether they have agreed to merge both claims, thus not needing to pay 303 x2?
Unfortunately, I am still waiting to hear back on my applications, so i don't know if they will merge them together.

I am afraid that you are going to have the 2 separate payments, as they wont process the applications without receipt of payment. But if sucessful in setting aside and having the claims dismissed, you will be claiming this back.

Hi all, quick update that I have submitted both my applications and have paid their fees, now I guess it's a waiting game!

    Hi everyone,

I received letters from DCBL for the two CCJs, should I do anything with them? I also received another letter from DCBL referencing the other PCNs they have allegedly recorded against me and are threatening to turn them into CCJ.

    Posting pictures for visibility!

Have your applications x 2 been allocated to your local court yet? If not, phone the CNBC and complain

They haven't yet, when I spoke to them they said they were behind on applications by 5 weeks, last week they sent me an email asking for one of the exhibits to be in PDF format which I sent over minutes later.

Shall I contact them asking for an update to both my cases?

    Hi @Coupon-mad

I did some research on the replies to an LoC and have come up with the following (Had to merge parts of each response). Also, I'm not sure the Airport reply is relevant for me, as I don't know whether the car park I allegedly parked in is "relevant land" or not?

I have also got a question regarding the paragraph in bold, since my LoC does not have any extra charges in it, at least not within the letter itself?

Please let me know if this is suitable to send to DCB Legal and whether I should send anything else before:

    Dear Sirs,

    Your Ref. ############
    DCB Legal Ltd.
    Claimant: Civil Enforcement Ltd

I refer to your your letter of claim.

I confirm that my address for service for the time being - assuming you don't faff about and delay any claim - is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:
    [MY ADDRESS]

The alleged debt is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.

I am sourcing and seeking independent debt advice and as such, I formally request that this matter be put on hold for an additional 30 days, in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims 2017 ('the PAP').

I note that the amount being claimed has increased by a hugely exaggerated amount which the Government called "extorting money from motorists".

"Don't send me your usual blather about that.

I have two questions, and under the PAP I am entitled to specific answers:

    1. Am I to understand that the additional £70 represents what you lot dress up as a 'Debt Recovery' fee, and if so, is this nett or inclusive of VAT? If the latter, would you kindly explain why I am being asked to pay the operator’s VAT?

    2. With regard to the principal alleged PCN sum: Is this damages, or will it be pleaded as consideration for parking?"

    Yours faithfully

But what about the second page of the Letter of Claim?
Doesn't that show the extra charges?
You showed us the first page on 20 August at 9:44AM but not the second page.
