:grouphug: Aww Toto I'm sure you are bound to have some pangs of nostalgia because there must be some good memories in that house despite it all going pear shaped. Please give yourself permission to have these feelings and be kind to yourself . Sending you a dodgy hug XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Spud... how the HELL di you do 11 miles in 30 mins??????
I just did...
5.48m distance
30.33 mins
20.5 calories burnt
admittedly I did get sick of being sat on a bike.. so I took the seat and the handle bars off it and sat on the sofa playing xbox and drinking a cup of soup whilst cycling away... but surely that still counts?? :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I can do about 8 miles in 30 minutes on my cross trainer (basically a stand up bike with arm-ey bits
).. okay let me rephrase that, I can do about 4 miles in 15 minutes because by then I'm dying of exhaustion, so theoretically I'd do 8 miles in 30 minutes. The 4 miles burns about 150 cals or so says my cross trainer.
According to this site, you burned way more than 20 calories

I proper went for it - tried to go as fast as I could and was really out of breath when I finished
My DS did 6 miles in 30 minutes, 220 calories so I think you did 205 calories, not 20.5
I've just come in from school, and DD has challenged me to another half hour :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I was absolutely tired out this morning, but did manage to drag myself and the kids out for a walk in the rain - we walked the scenic (lol...that's a joke round here) route to town and then had a walk round and came back home, which took about 2 hours 15 minutes. Then I went to my naughty friend's house who made me eat 2 miniature scones with jam and cream!
Annoyingly, she had a baby 2 months after me, and is back to being slim and toned, but as a lot of her weight loss is due to the stress of her husband leaving her whilst pregnant  I don't envy her. She's lovely too, he must be absolutely crazy."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
