    Well done spud!
Well tomorrow is d-day for me! Joined rosemary conely online, currently drinking last bottle of wine and somking last fags! Weighed myself this a (had to to update my profile!). Good news is last time I was there I was 14 stone 10 & now 12 11..the latter is the bad news as it means I've put on a stone over Christmas :( Bearing in mind I was 15 stone 5 on 21 Mch last year I havent done badly but am hacked off that I put so much on & know its mainly the wine so that has to go!! Not very good at moderation so will give up for a while! Also need ti start getting into excercise regime & have booked a run in for Friday and want to get at least one other excercise in before then. Possibly a swim! Fingers crossed!

    Thanks ISOM.

You do realise we'll be checking to see if you've done your run plus one other :D

It's scary how easy the weight goes on, compared to how hard it is to lose isnt it hun.

I gave up the booze on 1st Jan and I'm really determined to lose the weight I put on, plus plenty more.

    We can do this ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • Yes spud it is hard butthen I managed to not smoke drink or eat (at all!) when I did lighterlife last year so know I CAN DO IT!!!

someone usually comes on about now and mentions sit ups - I think it's mrs spendalot - this is the only thing that reminds me to do them so I'll take her role tonight. Anyone care to join me for a few sit ups? suck that tummy in girls! (and any blokes joining in).

    Morning Guys.

Had a bit of a bad weekend and I have to weigh in again tonight! But it'll all be back to normal tonight and only Mondays from now on. I know I've not lost anything and hopefully I will have managed to stay the same.

Not feeling great though.... funny stomach cramps going on here.

Morning folks, I'm feeling crappy this morning and it's so stupid it isn't funny. Actually it's bloody ridiculous and I'm shocked it's bothered me. The thing is, my ex'es new girlfriend has posted a bunch of photos on facebook from new years eve. It was a party in our house, well, his house now. Seeing him in photos doesn't bother me in the slightest, neither does seeing him with her, I'm well over that, although it did make me feel a bit old and fat (she's 23, he's 47) Actually I feel sorry for her because I know the misery she has to come (he can't keep it in his pants) Seeing a party in the house did bother me and I don't know why. I did love that place, it is a beautiful converted barn, there is still a bunch of stuff there that I bought, the decoration is all me (although I see he's ripped out the kitchen and is having a new one).

I guess it all just bought back a bunch of feelings but it is silly, I've got a new life now, he's still serial dating and I would never go back in my wildest nightmare.

Ok snap out of it now, time for a coffee I think. See my second post on this thread and I'm already way off topic :)

    That's ok Toto.

I managed to get really upset when my Ex remarried. not because I was actually that bothered about him being married, but because it was only 18 months after we split and 15 months after we should have had our wedding day!!! We are silly aren't we.

But as i saw your Wedding photos.... you are not old and your are definately not fat!!!

We love you just as you are x
