Well that's one way to lose the weight I suppose... saying that after Ashli I went from 14.5 stone to 11.5 after my mum died....not the recommended way of dieting though..

    I eat when I'm stressed - I've had a very stressful life :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I might try and do a half hour on my cross trainer today, and compare the calories.

It's much harder than the exercise bike, but I'll try my best ;)

Its not that hard Spud, I went from not being able to do more than 2 minutes on it to being able to (just) do 15 minutes since christmas. The only advice I'll give you is try to pace yourself, I was going like a bat out of hell for two or three minutes and then collapsing on the bed. LOL. Now I'm okay after a minute or two, even to the point of thinking 'hmm, maybe I'll have another go in a bit' not that I ever get around to it ;) It does get boring though so put some music on, I stole DH mp3 player for my workouts. Nothing beats a bit of Puddle of Mudd or Linkin park when your really feeling the burn :rotfl:

I was really bored on the exercise bike yesterday, I cant even see the TV where it is.

I managed the 30 minutes on the bike last night no problem, but I doubt I'll be able to do much more than 10 minutes on the cross trainer :o

A good bit of loud musc would be great to keep me pedalling, but my DH is on nights, so he's in bed

No Shortie, I dont have an Ipod or an MP3 player.

Many moons ago, I used to jog with a walkman (yes, when they played tapes :o ), and I loved that.

Maybe when funds allow, I might treat myself :D
