I guess at least there would be a spare table (or two) to sit at - and everyone else crammed up the far side of the pub

True. You can always go on the Heinz Baked Bean diet too. This involves eating at least 6 tins of beans a day.

I've just done 30 minutes exercise on my new machinery. 10 minutes on the cross trainer (I couldn't manage more than that in one go, and its only 50 calories!) then 10 minutes doing toning exercises on the toning bench (rowing, push-ups, lower stomach crunches), then another 10 minutes on the cross trainer.
I figure if I do that twice a week plus use my Latin dance DVD for half an hour at least once a week then I should be sorted for exercise. Of course as (if?) I get fitter I will extend the time I use each piece of equipment.
LOL, and I havent even started the diet bit yet. I'm going to be good today, but with the drinks I'll be having later (probably no more than 2 or 3) the diet is shot for today anyway.

Are we doing weekly weigh ins and/or measurements, or is this more of a theoretical support thread? I only ask because I like to post my losses and I dont want to if I'm the only one doing it :p

    Hi IA

Can I join? I'm not much into exercise but I will start going back to my salsa class on a wednesday and actually get Davina back out of her box.

I have another 3 and a half stone to lose? So what to we think, can I do that in 2008?
