  • Have ordered a couple of fitness DVDs on amazon with gift vouchers I was given - gone for Davina Power of 3 and a Nell McAndrew one-have never used them before, so will let you know how i get on...will def feel less self conscious jumping around my front room than I would huffing and puffing in a gym :rotfl: Have decided that 8.5 stone is my target, so have about 1.5 stone to lose-hope the DVDs arrive soon, as I want to get started! And can't wait to get rid of my tummy

  • ooh no, just got on the scales - seem to have gained half a stone in December  so am seriously in this challenge! Infact, stuff the money just need to lose the flab!!!!!! Did WW about 3 years ago and while I never stuck it out to my goal weight, the 20lbs I did lose has stayed pretty much off - until now it seems! Yay! Fat depression to add to the hangover. Mmm, if I cut as much booze as poss out of my life even just for January, that might rid some fat and some debt......better get up now and throw out all evil food in evil flat.

Right, I'm in! I just got on the scales and had similar experience to greenwichgirl and realised I'm the wrong side of 10 stone (I'm a shorty). So my targets are:
    1. Lose 1/2 st to get back to my normal weight of 9.5 st
    2. Stop drinking (at home and in the pub) and stop eating out to save both £s and lbs
    3. If I am successful in 1 and 2 then I will keep going and try and reach my dream weight of 9 stone which would mean I could fit into the very lovely and expensive jeans which have been sitting unworn in the wardrobe for the past 18 months.

As for measurements, I used to take them a lot a few years back but I know it would make me sad to do it now and see how much I've expanded. It's a great way to see progress though so I'll think about it.

    Good luck everyone :T

well there's good news and bad - went to the gym (good), half a stone heavier than expected though so now have 21 pounds to lose. Trying to focus on the fact I went to the gym, I'm in the midst of making healthy soup and I've not eaten any junk today.... will update siggy though.
