Hi Fac,
Yes, the weight loss was down to following a Slimming World diet since August, no exercise at all I'm ashamed to say
I do walk, though not as much at the moment because I dont like walking to/from school in the dark.
I used to love running too, though I dont think our budget will stretch to proper running shoes unfortunately. I also think I may still be a tad large to run
I'm literally surrounded with exercise equipment but I dont use any of it, it's just so flippin boring, and yes, I admit, I'd rather be here with you guysIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I just had the most random thought - if we all wore really heavy rings on our fingers while we were typing on here, that would use more calories, surely?? :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Spud that's hardly something to be ashamed of - if you can lose 42lbs through diet then you've clearly got willpower - just imagine what you can achieve when you add in exercise.
If you have exercise equipment... use it! When I had a gym membership I used to love spinning classes - to stop it being 45 minutes of just boring cycling we would do a routine to music - fast/slow, different levels of resistance, standing up/sitting down - you could make a playlist to do this too if that would stop it being so boring?
Snaggles, I'll keep an eye on your threadmight be brave enough to do my own about money one day - in between nappies perhaps

Thanks Fac
To be honest, SW doesnt need any willpower, it's been really easy to follow.
I promise I will try to use my exercise equipment every day.
Snaggles - I'm loving the idea of heavy rings :rotfl:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

pleeeeaaaase.
I just checked the nutritional information for Full milk compared to semi-skimmed. There is nearly twice as much fat in the full milk. It's not a massive amount of fat, so I wouldn't feel too bad if you did drink it, however I would say that it's probably best not to have too much of it, maybe just a glass a day, or half a glass.
Btw, I bet if you started drinking semi-skimmed or skimmed after only a week or two you'd get used to it, and if you went back to full milk, you probably wouldn't like it.
Again though, the biggest part of the nutrition (not diet), is being aware of what you're eating and drinking. Just make sure you get lots of good stuff, and avoid bad fats (like chips, fried stuff, beer especially as that's empty calories, pizza's, etc...).
It doesn't have to be uphill struggle, and you don't have to eat 6 meals consisting of just brussel sprouts to become slimmer.
Good luck!Amo L'Italia0 -

But if you did want to eat all them brussels, as least you won't be tempted down the pub for a few pints as you may find your friends suddenly avoid you like the plague! :rotfl:April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
