So I ignore the email and don't give them my number?0

Depends who THEM are, could be anyone
You would be giving or have given your phone number to the CNBC in order for the Mediation service to contact you ( same as everyone else ), possibly to the Mediation Service too, no problem with those having it
Your Mediation call will be a few minutes, especially if its no offer ( no prep, nothing to do with your case, just money, or no money )3 -
can you give them the number for the local wetherspoons?1

The email was from SCM referrals so I assume this is the one time that I do give them my number?0

Hello, I've just received the following email:
"the claimant’s representative has notified us that they are unable to attend your appointment"
The appointment was scheduled to happen next Monday. Is this common practice from DCB? The email states that I should just now await a court date in the next 6 months but how likely is it that DCB will fold before this and withdraw the claim?

Seems to be happening a lot recently, probably short staffed and overworked, entirely their own fault now that properly qualified staff have to conduct the litigation
Its extremely likely that they will fold just before the hearing fee deadline date, same as in hundreds of other cases on here ( you should have been aware of that aspect from the thread by Umkomaas. )3 -
Nothing I could see about what happens if they cancel an appointment but I imagine this only strengthens my case. Who needs to pay for a hearing fee?Gr1pr said:Seems to be happening a lot recently, probably short staffed and overworked, entirely their own fault now that properly qualified staff have to conduct the litigation

It can be added to your WS but it won't matter
The claimant and their lawyers pay up to the discontinuation or to the hearing and judgment
You pay nothing unless you lose
I suggest that you study a dozen recent similar cases because you don't seem to understand the process yet
There are over 710 in the thread of shame by Umkomaas1 -
Obviously them!Harmonyguru said:
