Welcome back Jings.
Glad you have been able to lay your friend to rest at last, CoG.
Today I have
- S&S'd kitchen and bathroom
- FUPA all the rest of the clean washing
- broken up my old (defunct) K!nd1e and put it in the bag in the shed, ready to be taken to small electrical recycling next time I go to the tip
- planted out tomatoes into their big pots
- planted the runner and French bean seeds that I had soaked yesterday so they were ready to go
- deadheaded the back garden
- taken a long hard look at the front garden and decided on a plan of action for J when he comes back from his hols
- asked L the dog walker for some dates when she could look after Rosie for us so that we can go and stay with my DD (her DH doesn't allow dogs in their house); she gave me 2 possible weeks
- discussed the dates with DD, who is going to check with her DH
- rang my old school friend with whom I chat every couple of months; we cover a wide range of subjects, and I always look forward to our conversations - this evening's 55 minutes did not disappoint!
- moved two kitchen stools from the utility and side porch and carried them upstairs. DH won't let me declutter them completely because they form a set with the table which he uses as a desk, so I am going to hide them behind the suitcases in the bathroom eaves loft
- fought off a migraine.
It looks a lot more than it really was!
Tomorrow is another day xxx

Morning all.
No paid stuff today, just an exercise class later so in theory I should fly. Just going to do my stretches and admin and then tackle the day.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Good morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped a brew.
I'll put out the recycling and feed the birds before I set off for the paid stuff. Schools went back yesterday so it'll be a busier commute. New colleague started yesterday so I'll probably meet her today. (She's based in the office next door).
Better get my ID on. And my sandals. It's June. I'm wearing sandals. Hopefully I won't be 🥶.
Have a good day.

Oh Jazee I do feel for you.
Day at home today. I have a few errands to do in town, so must make a list then I don’t miss any. I also need to do some tidying/cleaning.
DW x 1. I also have swimming gear to peg out, which I washed when I got back yesterday.

Good afternoon 😊
As suspected, I only have 1 child today (although it wasn't confirmed until gone 11am 🙄 - they are supposed to be here at 9!) We have been to toddler group this morning and he is now eating his lunch. I think this afternoon we shall sow some runner bean, including some in a jar so he can see them grow. We can also make a start on the planting and I have put lots of petals in the mud kitchen 👍
DH did the WU this morning, and put on the DW which has now been emptied. He has also dusted our bedroom. At least one of us is flying! 😂
I have taken a look at the greenfly thread and will try and post my gardening updates on there!

This morning I took A to the GP so she could have a look at his rash. She decided it might be one of the meds he is taking but doesn't really need to now so she took him off it and gave him some other cream and said she would review it in 3 or 4 weeks. There is a lot of measles about evidently so at my request she ordered a blood test to see if he has antibodies to measles and also said he needed to have another cholesterol test so we booked an appointment to have both tests done in a couple of weeks. Before we went out A couldn't find his mobile so when we came back we had another look but couldn't find it. I looked at the online tracking and saw that it is several miles away. He must have lost it when the friends who were looking after him yesterday took him out in the wheelchair. I've ordered a new SIM and once it's arrived we can go out and get him a new phone. It's a shame as it's only a couple of years old.I've made made lunch and will shortly wash up. Hope everyone's having a good day.8
