Afternoon all, feeling quite on the edge today as i'm in work tomorrow afternoon for inset, don't need to go in the morning as it's training morning and as i'm leaving no need for me to do it, in all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning. I am also working tomorrow morning for 2 hours and Friday at new job. I'm literally taking it one day at a time and cannot wait for a week on wednesday when i finish for good, then we go away for 3 days on a mini break which i think will be much needed.
So back to money, went out last night and had a ok evening, food and company was lovely but my headspace is so in another place i can't switch off and relax. Spent approx £60 so not bad.
Checked M&S beauty rewards thing and today's is 25% off fragrances which again i won't use, so decided to bite the bullet and place an order for the things i wanted as christmas presents, should have been £83 but after reduction came to £58, pleased with that and money came from christmas pot.
Also placed a dog treat order, dogs only get natural dog chews, antlers, pigs ears etc no nasty chemicals, spent £35 but DD will give me £10 towards as one third of the dogs are now hers.
Sale on v1nted £6 but this will stay there until i need something as i use it as part of my clothing budget. Will drop parcel off tomorrow when i go to dog training.

V1nted sale and packed using recycled packaging.
Meals from stores, eggs for breakfast laid by my chucks with whoopsied toasted english muffins, so cost pennies for 4 of us.
free drying outside, no sunshine but very blustery though.

Afternoon all, first week done and one to go, feel totally drained but the end is in sight. Anyway i'm off today and in new job tomorrow.
Struggling to find any energy today so just going with the flow. Couple of loads of washing done and hung out to dry. Made a chocolate fridge cake and had a tidy round.
Found my old barb0ur jacket in the back of cupboard of doom, it smelt musty and was grubby but you are not supposed to wash them. So decided i had nothing to lose as i couldn't wear it in the state it was in and soaked it in cold water in the bath for a couple of hours with no soap, water was grim and i gave it a scrub with a brush and hung it out to dry, have to say it looks good and i've ordered some wax to reproof it from amaz0n which will be here tomorrow. It was going to be £50 to get it done through barb0ur.
Not much happening moneywise, all DD have gone out this week and did a top up shop on way home from work yesterday £18 spent it did include an £8 spend on a bottle of wine.
Tomorrow will be spendy as I am in much need of new jeans, so i'm taking DD shopping with me tomorrow afternoon as she is always good for an honest opinion. She also needs a new bag for a wedding she is going to and can't seem to find the right colour to match her hat and is fed up of ordering things online that just don't match the colour, so we are taking hat with us and will hit the shops.
Frugal wins

Afternoon all, this week has been a roller coaster of emotions but a chapter has ended and i am moving on, was a sad day on Wednesday and will miss some people terribly but others not so much, received some lovely flowers and gift voucher for a restaurant I like so that was nice.
Break away has been lovely and we went to a pretty market town where I nabbed a couple of bargains in the charity shops, went on some lovely blustery but head clearing walks and had the best fish and chips i have had in a long time.
Had to be out of the cottage for 10am so decided to take the sceninc route home and did a small top up shop on the way through a small town that had an aldi, also nipped into boots for some bonjela for DH as he has an ulcer on his tongue that was annoying him so annoying me. Managed to pick up 2 half price mens toiletry sets and paid with points which will be perfect for DS and DD boyfriend for xmas.
On the money front not much happening, need to catch up with surveys and i need to do a sort out of my wardrobe as some clothes and shoes will not be needed so no point in them gathering dust, also need to sort a charity shop bag out and get it dropped off later in the week.
Hoping for a low spend week and eating up what we have, have no biscuits or chocolate in so need to make some flapjack as DH will not be happy, at least i can bulk it out with nuts and dried fruit to make it a bit healthier. Scampi for tea tonight with jacket spud and salad and Roast lamb tomorrow.
DD has gone on her holidays so i'm on puppy duty, she is adorable but an absolute terror, my dog loves her to bits already and they just follow each other around all the time.

All the best for your fresh start. I am sure you can keep up with the people you liked from your previous post, and quietly drop the others.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Good afternoon and what a glorious day, several loads of washing done and hung out.
Busy day yesterday, work followed by shopping for new walking boots, after trying several pairs I finally found some that are perfect but why do they always have to be the most expensive, anyway they are lovely and fit brilliantly. So heres to dry non leaking boots ready for the winter weather.
Also had dog training and fees were due, so yesterday turned out to be expensive.
Today has been a NSD, had a payment into the bank and have sold a few items on v1nted, mainly clothes I wore for my old job that are too smart for new job. I think the money can go back into savings rather that leaving it in my V account, I've been through my winter clothes and can't see that i need anything now i have replaced my walking boot, i have several pairs of every day boots, plenty of winter coats and clothes so going to try and not buy anything for the rest of this year.
Also redeemed £25 from 0nep0ll but won't receive that until next month.

Evening all, hope all is well.
Yesterday was a pottering kind of day, tidied up some of the garden now that some plants are dying back and planted some spring bulbs, thought i would get it done whilst the weather was nice, need to buy a bigger pot for my blueberry bush probably a job for the weekend.
Today i did 4 hours at work, then home and had a frugal lunch of poached eggs on toast. Managed to get 2 loads of washing out on the line and dried this afternoon. I do have a huge ironing pile sat on the dining table which i need to do tomorrow, especially as we have friends coming for tea. Not much else done as i am exhausted today, baby doggo decided to start barking at 4am and then i was wide awake and couldn't get back to sleep.
Couple more items sold on V, wrapped up using recycled packaging and DH has taken them to the in post drop off on his way to sports club. It has also been a NSD.3 -
