So a major update to my case and a nice Easter present!Thank you for contacting Motor Fuel Group.
Your complaint has been escalated and William as requested I respond on his behalf.
First and foremost, we apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our customers while ensuring that our on-site parking facilities are reserved exclusively for patrons. Whilst we do have clear signs in place that indicate the time limit, we understand that situations can be unpredictable and sometimes our customers may need more time than initially planned. We are committed to making this process as hassle-free as possible.
Upon reviewing your case we would like to resolve this matter in a fair and equitable manner and have therefore arranged with Parking Control Management to rescind your parking ticket.
Due to ANPR, tickets are automatically generated by the system as this uses the number plate entering and leaving the station. For your information, we have signage at the station advising customers of the time frame and limitations in place. Therefore, if you feel your visit will be longer than the time specified, please advise a member of staff who will be able to mark your vehicle as exempt for that visit.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope you continue to use our brand in the future.Kind regards
Would like to thank everyone that helped me out on my case, sorry for being slow a lot of the times in following basic look/read/copy instructions but thankfully you had the patience to stick with me and helped me to contact the right people to push my case to this outcome!

So plan A worked again, nice one !3

That is brilliant news, at last!
I'd send it to Prabhakar and tell him it's been sorted and next time please could he remember this and be kinder to victims of MFG's litigious bully ANPR agents, and just cancel PCNs for angry (potentially ex) customers, just as this staff member did.
BTW please post exactly who to contact, in SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCs. Need to help others with the right contact info for MFG. Won't be seen on this thread after this week once it drops down the forum.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
