PCN for parking at petrol station

I have received this PCN for parking at a BP garage.
I pulled into the station and my son got out and entered the shop as he was going to buy a drink then going off elsewhere, i then proceeded to park up and i left the site to go into the shop next door, I was no more the 5 minutes.
The photo evidence doesn't show me dropping him off or myself leaving the site only me returning.
Also a they sent me a picture of the sign not to park there (which i didn't see at the time or via this photo evidence of it as its unclear)
The PCN says the parking is for patrons only and as i was with my son who got out to buy something then surely he was/is a patron?
Unfortunately he paid for the drink with cash so there's no digital record of this payment.
Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just ignore PCM as there is no appeal.
No paying.
No engaging with them unless you move house (common sense but we have to add it in our replies. You'd be amazed at how some people actually think it's fine NOT to tell a nasty, litigious ex-clamper that the person's old address must be erased, then they rock up here wondering why they got a CCJ to that address).
Search the forum for PCM Watchdog
Come back if you get a claim form. Read the 2nd and 4th posts of the NEWBIES thread.

The NTK is not PoFA compliant because it does not mention passing the NTK to the driver.
I would wager that the signs do not define the site boundary, nor display a map defining the same.
The photos don't show the driver returning, they show a random person standing near a car.

Apologies, i meant to say its pretty much the same letter as before but has now gone up to the £100 rather then the reduced amount of £60 which they first said i could pay within 2 weeks.

So as normal, it was always £100 , ALWAYS will be , what you are talking about is the 14 day discount offer if you paid them promptly, so they would accept less for a quick resolution, but once the discount period expires then the full amount is due, so it doesn't go up, it's just that the discount deadline expires, think about it !
Example, a £100 Fire tablet is discounted on black Friday from 1 minute past midnight for 24 hours to £60 for a quick sale, a 40% black Friday discount price, but at 1 minute past midnight the day after on Saturday morning the discount has expired and its back at £100 when you check it again on the Saturday or later, it was always a £100 Fire tablet, even if you obtained the discount on black Friday and only paid £60 , so a bargain1 -
