The parking company claimant has 6 years from the incident date to sue you, so assume they will, until the 6 years statute deadline expires

So am I just delaying the inevitable and was just hoping they wouldn’t bother taking it further or do I have a chance of not having to pay up?

Both,  its their choice,  you react to any escalation in the process and timeliness, same as every other victim

What did you make of my reply?!

Have you read many claim threads?

Yes i read your reply, thank you for that.
It just gets a bit overwhelming reading through so many cases i just wondered if all i was doing was delaying the inevitable of having to pay eventually.
I will wait till the next letter then deal with that from your helpful Newbies post. :)

You would only pay money if a judge says so in court

More likely that eventually the claimant will discontinue,  but no guarantees

Almost nobody pays these and if you lost, it would be less than the claim, as the NEWBIES thread already tells you.

    We win 99% of cases.

    This is what you WANT.

Disappointed that you found nothing about this in the second post of the NEWBIES thread.

As it says there, a Letter of Claim is just another name for Letter Before Claim.

Deal with either as described in the first few lines of that second post of the NEWBIES thread.
