I've had login issues with my RBS rewards profile for years, so I already have to access them through the app. The ability to deposit rewards directly into savings accounts is nice - but kinda naff if you can't use this to exceed the monthly deposit limit on their digital regular savers
I confirmed with a "post Cora" human chat that you can't exceed the £150 deposit limit.   Shame.
oops I have, does the 'overpaid' sum get auto returned into rewards acc then.
Maybe rbs shouldn't have included reg savers account in rewards transfer to drop down list.
Check though this thread.  Some folks have seen refunds while others have not (yet).

It's not quite so simple. People, including me, have had transfers from accounts other than the rewards account returned.
As of yet no one has reported transfers directly from the rewards account being returned.

To clarify - transfers from current accounts (including the Natwest/RBS Reward Account) will definitely bounce out

Exchanging rewards held in Natwest/RBS MyRewards for bank payouts to an eligible Digital Regular Saver don't seem to bounce out - although it's not clear if this is by design or not.

Yes, that is what I meant to say.
It made sense in my head at least but i could have been a lot clearer in what I wrote.

I have ~£280 in accrued MyRewards (despite many rainy days).  Very tempted to move them over to my Digital Regular Saver and see what happens!

At worst it'll bounce out in to (one of) your Natwest current account(s).

Maybe it can stay though Reg S Interest isn't applied.

I very much doubt that but we will see in time, I'm sure.
  • Has anyone had any funds returned when going over £150p/m by transferring from MyRewards?

Last post was nearly a month ago so assuming that if nobody has had anything reversed I am safe to go ahead and top up my DRS over and above the limit?

No, I paid in £150 max to each account I hold + had RBS & NatWest rewards on top with no problems. This month I will have a decent amount of grocery 10% cashback for each to add as well.
