PIP assessment - advice

Yes.... in a manner of speaking. There are standard and enhanced rates for Daily Living and Mobility components... to get enhanced award of each component you need 12 or more points in total... it's likely you'll be awarded 14 for each (see my calculation added in earlier post) and so enhanced rate for both components. (8-11 points is a standard award and less than 8 points is no award).Jack_bauer24 said:
Thank you and yes, it has eased my anxieties. I asked another forum and the person said going from this, I have passed both daily living and mobility, does that look correct to you?Muttleythefrog said:
Definitely hope it has eased your anxieties.. I haven't looked carefully at the report but it does indeed look like the assessor really did listen and take seriously what you told them. You of course may not agree with everything in the report (people rarely do) but as a basis for getting an award (And by the looks of it a maximum award!) it is incredibly helpful. Note - you asked about the value of the form (PIP2) - the assessor references it for every activity and it looks like you did a good job filling it in. Do try to relax.... you've done all you can... you will get a Decision Letter in due course.Hi, I just want to say thank you very much for all your help doing this for me and if this looks promising, I am so relief and happy
And as above... if you do get awarded PIP it may be worth just tipping Universal Credit off in your journal.
In terms of money that would be £108.55+£75.75= £184.30 per week.
But the payment is made every 4 weeks so every 4 weeks if you do get the award I expect then you would get £737.20 (once any backdating is sorted out).

Someone on Facebook have told me that the decision maker doesn't go off the reports and I can still get declined, is this true? I am so stressed now lol.0

The decision maker can decide to not go with the report, but it is VERY rare. (The only time I've heard of that happening was to give a higher award than the report recommended, because the report was rubbish.)Jack_bauer24 said:Someone on Facebook have told me that the decision maker doesn't go off the reports and I can still get declined, is this true? It looks like you've had an assessor doing their job properly so while I understand it's natural to be anxious and worry about something going wrong, all the evidence is there to get you the highest award.
If the worst were to happen and the DM decided to go against the report, for some extremely strange reason, you've got an excellent basis for challenging it!2 -
Oh dear, those awful FB groups again.Jack_bauer24 said:Someone on Facebook have told me that the decision maker doesn't go off the reports and I can still get declined, is this true? I am so stressed now lol.
If it was me I'd be clicking "leave group" and never return. 3 -

But will the decision maker go against the report? I am stressing out now lol.HillStreetBlues said:0 -
Personally I can't see anyway that it won't be rubber stamped by a DM.Jack_bauer24 said:
