Jack_bauer24 said:Sorry to be a pain, but I can't stop worrying about my dad reporting me to PIP, all because I paid my mate back because he lent me money for food, gas, electric and bills. My dad said he is going to report me to PIP as he said, I shouldn't be giving my mate back out of my PIP, as that is not what PIP means.
I can't sleep with the stress. I blocked my dad now, I don't want anything more to do with him. Could I get my PIP stopped because of this?
Those needs will change on a daily, weekly, monthly, even seasonal basis so if you need thicker curtains in the winter you can go out and buy them with your PIP, it’s up to you.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

Hi, I need to ask a question, I am going to start saving up now while I have this PIP and this extra money with me being on LCWRA, but all I want to know, is how much I can save up before it affects my Universal Credit? as I am going to put a lot away a month.1

As above anything over £6K reduces your UC. THe rate is £4.35 for every £250 pounds or part of there in,
so it work like this,
£6001 - reduced by £4.35
£6251 - reduced by £8.70
£6501 - reduced by £13.05….
Anything above £16K stops your entitlement.
But dont forget that your payments dont become capital until your next Assessment period, so if when you recieve your UC/PIP and it takes your over the £6K it doesnt count until the end of that assessment period. Equally if you recieved the cost of living payments and can prove you havent “spent them” then these are disregarde. For example if you received £1000 in cost of living payments - and your savings have since remained above £1500 then you can argue that that is the COL payments, so therefore when you go above £6K and declare this, the COL will be disregarded. So in this example the reduction will not apply until you have £6K Capital although you will have £7`K,Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

I need some advice. I need to change my mobile number with PIP, but I am just anxious and worried that if I changed my number, it will trigger a review. Will it trigger a review if I phone up and change my number?0
