15 April 2024? That's only 9 full weeks ago. Your PIP is £184.30 per week. 9 x 184.30 = £1658.70I assume your first monthly PIP payment isn't due for another 3 or 4 weeks?0

Hi, yes, I made my PIP application when I phoned up to request to apply for it on 15 April, I will attach the DWP message. And yes, my first PIP payment of £737.20 is on 15 July.Robbie64 said:15 April 2024? That's only 9 full weeks ago. Just to add, I applied online, not a form.

That payment is correct your timescale of 9 weeks was incredibly quick.
The online version is still the PIP2 form.Jack_bauer24 said:Just to add, I applied online, not a form.

Agree with above that just over 9 weeks of back pay so that would seem about right.

As previously noted, you should get a letter explaining your PIP payment and back pay, although the payment is often received before the letter. It’s been calculated by others and it’s correct.Jack_bauer24 said:Update: My backpay has gone in of £1658.70 and I made my PIP application on 15 April. Does this seem a correct amount to you? It seems really low for a backpay. I thought I would get more then this as I made my PIP application on that date above, unless its correct as I am not good with calculations, just looking for your opinons to see if its correct amount or not?
I would also echo youve gone through the system very quickly.
Your letter will also advise you of the time frame of your award, and when you can expect a review.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

It probably is quite low for a back payment... but that's because your claim was dealt with pretty fast. It is though looking correct and when the letter arrives it hopefully will detail payment arrangement. You will normally get PIP paid every 4 weeks."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1

Update: I got my award letter in the post today and my award last for 2 years, great news. At least I can relax now until they review me again
