I am just desperate that is all why I keep ringing as I am running out of money, also It looks like I will have to sell my smart TV soon till this PIP comes through.
Although phoning will not change the outcome of your assessment, you are wasting energy and time in doing so, equally your tieing up the phone lines for others that need help.
THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO BUT WAIT - once the DM has reviewed your assessment and a decision is made then and only then you will find out the outcome. When I was assessing I was told the gap between assessment and decision was eight weeks, at present the average time is twelve weeks.
YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET ANYTHING UNTIL THE DECISION IS MADE! I get your anxious and running out of money, but nothing is going to speed this up, you are not going to get any money quicker
Sorry to be so harsh but youve been told mulitple times, get away from toxic posts and places like facebook.

Your case will get to a Decision Maker whenever it gets there, nothing you can do to change that.
Leaving it be is the best thing you can do.
(Well, that and staying away from Facebook pages/groups that give you incorrect advice and fuel your anxiety.)1 -

Why are you continuing to remain in those silly Facebook groups? They are terrible and give some of the worst advice I've ever seen in my several years of advising. Get yourself off those groups is the best thing you can do.
You will not have a decision any quicker by ringing them. You are only causing yourself even more anxiety by constantly ringing them. Once that decision is made you will be contacted and until it's made you can't do anything else.3 -
Poppy is right, Facebook groups are awful. Not only do they give bad advice, but they will often shout down and be really horrible against people who try to give the correct advice, meaning those giving correct advice are driven from the group.
Please stay away.
Tell yourself that it can take 12 weeks for the decision to come through. This is because they are working through a large pile of assessments to look at and make their decision on. Your assessment results are in a giant pile of other assessment results that your decision maker is working through. Visualise it in your head. They haven't even looked at it yet. They are still looking at assessments done weeks before yours and your assessment is very gradually making it up the pile.
Do you see now that phoning is pointless? There is no new information because no one has even looked at it.
I know it's really stressful, but everything you feel anxiety about this, imagine the pile and imagine your assessment just gradually moving up. Tell yourself it can take 12 weeks for it to get to the top and for a decision maker to even look at it.
Constantly phoning achieves nothing and is making your anxiety worse, not better.
Why are you relying on PIP for your income? You should have other benefit income coming in for essentials (paltry though it is). Maybe put your focus for a while on other areas of the site that can help you with budgeting and making the money you have go further - put your energy into that to help your anxiety. Being proactive about something else is always better than focusing on a source of your anxiety that you cannot control.
Remember to try to accept rhe things you cannot change and try to change the things you can.7 -

I have just phoned the automated PIP up, it seems the case manager went with my report as no points were deducted as I am on the higher rate of 737.20 and my first payment is on 15 July, but I will get my back payment this week. I am so happy that case manager went with my report. 🙂 it's such a relief.
