Update: Still no decision as it's still with the case manager, so it's been 3 weeks since my assessment as I have been ringing Tuesday and yesterday for an update, but people on Facebook have warned me to be very careful as my PIP will go against me if I keep ringing, is this true? as I suffer from social anxiety and if it's true, I am just leaving it be now, as I am scared of ringing up just in case it goes against me. I am just desperate that is all why I keep ringing as I am running out of money, also It looks like I will have to sell my smart TV soon till this PIP comes through.
STOP!  - get off fakebook, stop chasing your results and focus on something else.

Although phoning will not change the outcome of your assessment, you are wasting energy and time in doing so, equally your tieing up the phone lines for others that need help.

THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO BUT WAIT - once the DM has reviewed your assessment and a decision is made then and only then you will find out the outcome.   When I was assessing I was told the gap between assessment and decision was eight weeks, at present the average time is twelve weeks.

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET ANYTHING UNTIL THE DECISION IS MADE!   I get your anxious and running out of money, but nothing is going to speed this up, you are not going to get any money quicker

Sorry to be so harsh but youve been told mulitple times,  get away from toxic posts and places like facebook.

Ok, I understand, but they is no need to shout and put capital letters.
There is because you’ve been advised multiple times.  You are your own downfall.  Facebook is not the place to get correct advice from…

But by all means you can choose to carry on using it.  Its only you your stressing out but then don’t come back on here expecting us to undo the stress FB has caused.  Your next up date I want to see is, I’ve got my letter and it says…

Stop calling them...stop stewing among people increasing your anxiety... completely and utterly useless at this point in time! I am ignoring your question because it doesn't meet the test I set you... it is about your anxiety and not a legitimate request for benefit advice. As advised the decision would likely take weeks but hopefully not too many of them. I remain hopeful that decision will curtail your anxiety but I will strongly advise you when decision is received to terminate your use of the places you are getting benefit advice until you genuinely face an issue over your benefits.

Distract yourself as best you can.
Hi, ok, thank you for your advice. I am just leaving it be now, what will be, will be. I will update again when I get my decision. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Wrong.  It wouldn't go against you - the people on the phones don't deal with your case at all - but it's for exactly that reason that phoning up won't change anything either, they don't deal with your case so they can't do anything about it not having been sorted yet.

Your case will get to a Decision Maker whenever it gets there, nothing you can do to change that.

Leaving it be is the best thing you can do.
(Well, that and staying away from Facebook pages/groups that give you incorrect advice and fuel your anxiety.)

Sometimes it's needed. Your thread is now on page 11 and so many times throughout the thread you've been given the same advice, it's very unusual for them to go against the report.

Why are you continuing to remain in those silly Facebook groups? They are terrible and give some of the worst advice I've ever seen in my several years of advising. Get yourself off those groups is the best thing you can do.

You will not have a decision any quicker by ringing them. You are only causing yourself even more anxiety by constantly ringing them. Once that decision is made you will be contacted and until it's made you can't do anything else.

I have just phoned the automated PIP up, it seems the case manager went with my report as no points were deducted as I am on the higher rate of 737.20 and my first payment is on 15 July, but I will get my back payment this week. I am so happy that case manager went with my report. 🙂 it's such a relief.
