Thank you for the threads Natty and Valli.Wren walked, kitchen tidied and supper prepped, and three loads through the WM which were then sun dried and are now airing in the kitchen overnight. I forgot my most comfortable bra which I handwashed while making supper in the kitchen sink - washing up liquid gets things clean, doesn't it? Also managed to finish some yard work with the containers that needed doing, and sloshed it down afterwards. I need to tie up some tomatoes tomorrow and work out how to get Belovéd to carry on nurturing my two surviving courgette plants while I'm away.I was very overtired today so took a nap this afternoon. I haven't slept during the day like that for over 30 years, so I must have been exhausted. I can't afford to be that way tomorrow so I'm glad I stopped when I did.Am getting the mane tamed tomorrow morning and then leaving the house at around 1.00 for the afternoon flight, so I probably won't post again from Dahn Sarf. And won't be flying other than the airborne type for a few days. Bliss.Better is good enough.7

Morning all. Just having first cuppa having only just got up. Hope everyone is doing ok today.
I didn't want to face the day. I could hear the rain although that's stopped now and DD had managed to bring my mood down again yesterday. I had a lovely day looking after DGD2 but apparently I didn't send enough updates. Well that's because I was busy with your child taking her to activities I pay for..grrr.....
Anyway, I shall potter about this morning, I can see lots of hotspots that need clearing and hopefully my mood will lift when I meet friends later at exercise class.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -

Morning all,
Non work day, and no appointments on the calendar. Best laid plans and all that. DH suggested lunch out, but I now have an emergency dentist appointment later this afternoon. I’ve never had toothache before (this started on Sunday and yesterday got progressively worse) but I can honestly say that I can live without it. Since hitting the big birthday at the end of the year, I feel like I am falling apart, piece by piece.
So, as a distraction, I have changed the bedding, washed it, now on the line under grey skies, cleaned the bathroom blinds, cleaned the bathrooms in readiness for visitors arriving on Friday, dusted upstairs. Now to vacuum upstairs and sort out the spare room so that I can get the bed settee down. DH has gone to the allotment, my concentration level is at zero, so I am concentrating on jobs here. I may venture to the gh later.
Hugs to all x8 -
piggers - DS had his first sleepover at Ulceby. Year 7. He never wanted to sleep over before that. Then his first one was at Ulceby. Middle of nowhere. Can I ask why DH went there? Work delivery maybe?
Horrendous first day back at TT. Major meltdown this morning - I was very close to just coming home, but I managed to pull myself together and stay the course. It's never going to get any better - issues will continue to be swept under the carpet. So I need to toughen up until I can find something else....or grit my teeth for 33 more pay days, then retire. Even if it means living in a caravan on Pops front garden!
I'm home, changed into my scruffs. Pops has been to drop off his birthday present for S - which I will deliver at the weekend.
My wool and various other bits have arrived. Just waiting on the pattern and a pair of knitting needles.
Bluetits are still busy feeding young uns. I've unpacked my lunch bag - is that flying?

Hi all
Is it only Tuesday? I have been very anxious lately but felt a little better today, I actually managed a trip around Li@l for a few bits. Yesterday a warning light came on the car as I was driving to work as if things aren't stressful enough. It needs a new sensor. The nice man in the garage has reassured me that it is safe to drive until it goes in to be fixed.
I did strength training this morning before the paid stuff. Project garden makeover is going well. I have done a little Flying tonight but just the basics.8
