So the last letter I have received is this a LBC or court claim ?
Also I can not find the template  to use to reply is there a link I can have as I can’t find it
people have told me not to do the letter
is it common practice to reply to the letter of claim at this stage
    thanks

Its an LBC if a lawyer's or solicitor sent it

Its a court claim if the CNBC in Northampton sent it

Both need to be dealt with after arrival, so I believe that you received an LBC so reply using the template KoC response from the second post in the newbies sticky thread near the top of the forum, above your thread

Its extremely common practice to reply to an LoC,  so do so, preferably by email

An LoC/LBC or whatever you want to call it, does not have to be from a solicitor/lawyer. Anyone wanting to file a claim has to issue an LoC, whether they are using a solicitor or not.

Hi I am looking for advice please  I have had loads of letters over the past 3 years asking for payment of the fine below
I had a pcn issued on the 30/04/2021
for being over the  time on my parking ticket
I payed for 1 hour in a car park and was about 12 minutes over
I was told by various forums to ignore all letters from this company which I have
and today I have received a claim form.
it looks pretty serious and again Iv been told to ignore this
the claim form court address is civil national business centre northampton
so what I’m asking is do I ignore this or fill out all the paper work and send it off
    thanks for all your advice

    amount claimed 217.32
    court fee             35.00
     legal costs         50.00
    total amount        302.32

Is it now three threads we have about this one Euro Car Parks incident?
You really would be wise to get these threads merged.

That picture you have shown us has the vehicle's registration mark clearly visible.
It also clearly displays your MCOL password.

With a Claim Issue Date of 28th August, you have until Monday 16th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 30th September 2024 to file a Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

what I’m asking is do I ignore this or fill out all the paper work and send it off
    Neither.

Do what the Template Defence explains.
