Very cute Mumtoomany.
Sunny again here.
- gym swim done. Tried on a new swimsuit - sadly had to get the next size up. Receptionist at the gym kindly said that make tends to come up small and lots of people have to get a size bigger. I'm not convinced. It looks lovely from the front, but ugh who invented fat backs? If I'm realistic I admit it isn't just my back......So I must pull myself together and re-slink.
- chocolate cake made and iced, biscuits made and cooling, for this evening's church group (what was that about pulling myself together??).
- did a few emails including sending off the tricky report, I've been waiting for my manager to agree with it.
- Mr N flew round the conservatory while I was swimming, so I just have to do some 'fine-tune' tidying in lounge, kitchen and conservatory.
Before then I've stopped for a coffee (miss the icon).Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.5 -

Take it easy Kaz x
CofG that is very sweet of you. I like the way you turned my volunteering experience into something so positive x
Pigpen that sounds exciting, hope you eventually get to move to your dream house, you deserve it.Busy day at the paid stuff. I had to walk to another work site to sort out a problem and felt really anxious. I thought about making excuses and going back to the office, but I gave myself a stern talking to and carried on to do what I needed to do.
DH changed our bed and hung the washing out. I have dusted and hoovered upstairs and put the clean washing away. Will go and make my lunch for tomorrow a minute.7 -
Loving the lambs.
Been to work then went for a walk along the canal and back with my friend. we aimed to walk briskly, which, according to my app, we did. We walked for over an hour. Then I came home and made tea. So i’ve impressed myself with my stamina. Kitchen S&S and WUALTD and loaded DW.

Morning all xx
I was awake at 5 and up at 6.... despite my best efforts to snuggle back under the duvet. Time went on a 'go slow'. I thought the battery in my clock must be on the blink...but no. Those two hours until the alarm which usually zzzzip by didn't zzzzip today. They c r a w l e d. So I was down here by 6.30am.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast and supped a brew. I've completed Wordle and got two lines on Connections. I don't think it was the sadistic setter today. More like me being thick. 🤦♀️.
I checked the rota for today. I'm on B&B with Am all day. Al and An are on Therapy all day. They both leave at lunchtime!!! They're not working overtime- I checked. So either Al will offer to stay (possible). Or I'm on B&B this morning and Therapy this afternoon. Cockwombles. Synonym for party and the word brewery come to mind 🤦♀️
I'll feed the birds, fill the birdbath, and put out the recycling before I go. And read the gas meter.
Have a good day. Especially those of you who weren't at work yesterday - it being Tuesday 😊

@mumtoomany I love your pictures - those lambs are so adorable.@Valli thanks for the recipe. I'll give it ago when I can.ASB, I'll try and listen today.I didn't post yesterday - I don't now where the day went. I didn't do a huge amount of flying - a light clean of the bathroom, a S&S in the kitchen, emptied the kitchen bin, went down to the basement and read the electricity meter, and did the usual food prep and washing up. Popped out for a couple of bits and to the chemist twice to collect prescriptions.A rang the GP about his foot infection. She said the best thing would be to have some tablets but he can't as they would clash with something else he's taking. She said he could have laser treatment but that is only available privately so prescribed something to paint his nails with but said it isn't very effective [sigh]. He can't cut his nails because of his arthritis and I'm nervous about doing it because I don't want to cut his foot and his nails are very thick. He asked the GP if the practice nurse would do it but she said no and suggested a private podiatrist. He's agreed (I think) to see the one I go to and maybe she might have an opinion on his infection too.He also rang the dentist and got an appointment for today to have the broken tooth removed. Once that's out of the way I'll make an appointment for him to see the podiatrist. I"ll try and fit in some flying today but need to get the tooth extraction out of the way first.Hope you all have a good day and I"ll check in later.7
