Thank you.  It means a lot to be able to vent and to realise, and be reminded, that this situation isn't unusual.  I have spoken to him, and in fairness to Belovéd he has spent the afternoon working on Project Clear Up while I had a rest because I was completely knackered.  We'll both be at it tomorrow, this time together.

Bonus for today - I left an old, cheap and cheerful set of shelves out on the street with a Free sign on it and I'm pleased to say someone has acquired it, which saves me a trip to the tip/to the dump dump dump on Monday.  For the first time ever the cupboard under the front steps is looking fairly civilized.

Me too. Watched Eurovision and keep darting from window to window as our house runs from west to east. No lights yet   

Lovely lake swim this morning, we did 3 laps so that is the 1.4miles we have to do in June.
Went to L1d1 on the way home.
Did lots of gardening.
Did some drum practice while cooking dinner.
My eye is much better today, I may put my contacts in for church tomorrow. Will have to go early as I'm meant to be flowers/hoovering/refreshments and I didn't drop in on my way back from L1d1 as I had frozen goods in the car.
Happy light-watching everyone. There were some fantastic photos taken in our village.

It was cloudy here so I gave up. Gave up on Eurovision too. 
Now in WAC after having bad dreams. Completed Wordle in two. Only got two lines on Connections. 

I'm going to see if I can get back to sleep. Still cross with myself for forgetting about the Lights on Friday night. Heyho. Spilt milk and all that.

had a seriously weird dream involving Sweet.  Despite watching Eurovision; my friend came round and we picked the winner!  No bet was placed, sadly.

I must have gone back to sleep and I've woken up with a headache, but I'm up, made my bed, put away the pots that were LTD, and I'm enjoying my first brew.

Sorry (actually not sorry) Round…I was a member of their fan club…(gulp) half a century ago…

We are having roast beef today, but i’m serving Jersey Royals instead of mash (so that’s easier) and have bought some ready made Yorkshires.  And dessert will be trifle.  Actually i ought to get up and make the jelly layer.

Enjoying my second cup of tea in our lovely garden, just listening to country life. No traffic, no sirens, no idiots racing card around, no souped up cars or idiots having arguments outside your house.  Oh how I don't miss Kent at all...lol
