Morning all,
Thank you so much for all your gws wishes. They have sorted the problem. Now if you could just aim the flylady vibes at my right rib cage, that would be amazing. I am assuming that I bruised my ribs when I passed out. Honestly, it seems like the gift of hitting 60 last year brought with it all sorts of unexpected pleasures…
I hope Mr P enjoyed his first day and didn’t come home with too much stock from the gc. And that he enjoys day 2 as well.
ASB - you ok, my lovely? And you too, YL?
Day off today, I resisted offering to go into work to make up for yesterday’s sick day. I am meeting an old OU friend for coffee (her) and something stomach calming for me. I have changed the bedding, seem to have dropped half of it on the way to the wm, which is now running. It is sunny here too, so the washing will go out on the line. Hopefully we have a builder turning up today to agree to start work on our garage. He will be the 4th one, so let’s see if it goes to plan this time.
I also need to clean the bathroom at some point and sort out my birds nest hair. DH is out this evening for a curry, so that saves me thinking about dinner.
Have a good day all. I hope the sun is shining where you are.7 -
Glad you're feeling better Fayolle. Don't do too much today though - try and take it a it easy. Anyway, sending positive vibes to your rib cage. Good luck with the builder too and enjoy meeting your friend.
Peppermint tea is good for tummies.
We were going to have your covid vaccinations today but I feel a bit below par so, as it's a drop-in and no appointment, I'm going to wait. A still wants to have his providing there's no queue so I'll take him for that later and we might go to the park as it's warm and sunny. I was going to clean the kitchen today, but we'll see how I feel later.7 -
Morning all.
Glad you're feeling better Fayolle and that Piggers DHs job went ok. Hope that you're feeling above par soon CoG.
So far today, I have prepped food for Poppet, updated banking and admin including a froglet and cleaned out the fridge.I am just having breakfast so the rest of my list which will probably carry over to the rest of the week is:
wash up
change sofa throws
get the mountain of washing under control
change bedding
hoover through
get rid of cobwebs
clean insides of windows
The sunshine is really showing up the grime.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Thank you Kazwookie and Pigpen for your wisdom. Thank goodness for Flyladies! Why it being a scam hadn't occurred to me I don't know because I'm usually quite skeptical, but it hadn't crossed my mind. I think we can safely say my account has been hijacked and that's that. Hey ho.I would have liked to pot up various plants I'm nurturing indoors today where I don't have space to keep them if they'e in bigger pots but it's hissing down out there and is going to continue to do so for the whole of the day, which also means Wren won't get much of a walk. (She's a bit of a sissy about rain.) They will have to wait until Friday.Proper flying will occur instead, dusting and the like. Back later.Better is good enough.8

HB I have had hundreds of attempts to get into my email account.. all have been thwarted by my monstrous password but on occasion I can't log in because there are 'too many attempts' I am trying to find time to email MS about it but they don't care and everything important is downloaded as well as left on the email as back up so it really doesnt matter.
Dot forgot her toot this morning, OOH is off to the gym.. and Squeak is here doing history coursework... ggrrr.... GO TO SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!! If she can do the work here why the heck will she not do it there?!?!?!
Anyway.. I am going to have a cuppa and do something useful.

Thank you @Cloth_of_Gold I have had a little go this morning and put all the bits that came out of the old bathroom back as well as cleaning it down. The bath is plastic so I towel dried it once I'd washed it round and sprayed/wiped it which I think might have been overkill but I wasn't sure how else I'd get it to dry without leaving water marks. There are, annoyingly, several areas where silicon or grouthas been daubed on surfaces which is upsetting but I suspect those will come off with time and repeated gentle scrubbing. I probably should wash the floor as it's still a bit dusty but I've run out of steam now.
I have quite the list today, and only until 2pm to do it, and no motivation at all. I think I'm still adjusting to the idea that Tuesday morning is now my only free time in the house, as for the last 15 months I've been here 24/7 if I've wanted to, and I've been on my own in the house for 4 days a week for a month before going back to work so "I'll do that tomorrow" was a valid option.
1) Clean bathroom
2) Put mountain of clothes away (OH 'kindly' folded them last night then declared it too late to put them away, so they've all been dumped on the floor in their piles againwhy bother, I ask)
3) Make a lasagne for tomorrow's dinner as I'll be out
4) Tidy up the bedroom
5) 2 X Laundry loads
6) List bits on facebook freebies group
7) Dishwasher
8) Prep for tonight's dinner

KMN .. I don't use my Etsy selling account. I just opened a Numonday account to see how that goes for crafted stuff.. Etsy fees are astronomical and after posting you end up out of pocket.. not really the idea!! I am knitting up a stash of yarm (85L plastic tub) as baby hats just to get rid.

Washing on the line. Much as flying calls, it's a lovely day so we're going for a walk.
I have, however, been doing stuff. Meter readings have been submitted.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Washing mountain decreasing. Two wash loads on line, one in machine, two more to go. I have done all dailies, changed sofa covers, changed bedding, hoovered through, dusted of fashion in bedroom, walked Poppet and have just had early lunch. Going to quickly hack the front grass and then go to exercise class.Spend less now, work less later.8
