Mine came down today then had a bit of a housework session - last one of the year lol. All nice and clean. Looks a bit bare though.0

I was going to take it down but now have more decorations and as OH is away until at least 10 Jan - can I leave it up?0

I'll probably take mine down on Thursday, that will be the 3rd won't it? or maybe even Wednesday, looking forward to a nice new year clean once the kids are back to school!0

i hate having them up after christmas they just look untidy and messy!!0 -
Think mine will be coming down today, with a puppy, young cat and a toddler its all becoming a bit much and the place is started to look cluttered now. Might have to wait until my little boy has gone to bed, he is going to be upset that the tree is going back in the loft.0

Mine will all be coming down tomorrow.
I can't stand seeing Christmas decorations after New Years Day!
Once it's the new year, it's done and over and I want my house back!
The rooms always look bigger and lighter once the trees are down.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Ours came down this afternoon, I was more than ready.0

We always used to put the tree up the first week of December for my sister's birthday. Taking it down was a movable thing, depended what we were doing. This year ours didn't go up until the week before so it's up until next weekend or I shall feel cheated! I *love* having the tree up, it looks gorgeous.
Don't have any other decorations though. 0 -
Yes, if that's what you want to do then do it. It's only a silly superstition that makes people take them down by 12th night (or obviously a need to clean!) :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree: :xmastree:I was going to take it down but now have more decorations and as OH is away until at least 10 Jan - can I leave it up?0 -

In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of.

Our government should be ashamed.0
