Tomorrow (sat), they would have come down today but i have been at work. We always put them up at the beginning of Dec as I know that I will be ready for taking them down soon after. For me the run up to christmas and chistmas/boxing day is the festive bit. After that I think they start to look a bit jaded.

Ours come down on the 6th January - Epiphany if I remember correctly. My mum always did it this way, so I guess I've just followed on the tradition. Always feels a bit weird taking them down sooner...

I started taking some down today, everyone commented on how nice it was to be "back to normal" - just the tree to do - probably tomorrow.

I don't like the decs up for new year and it's our wedding anniversary on the 7th so I like to know everything is clean and tidy and back to normal for then.
