The longer the better as there isn't an end date.

As above.... probably delays in system continue... and given the award has no actual end date (unlike say for PIP) then it really is a case of the longer you wait the better I'd also say."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack2

Yes. they are backlogged and are currently concentrating on new claim assessments rather that reassessments of existing awards.(There is some controversy regarding if they are reassessing reported changes of circumstances to existing claims as they should be, there are reports that they are not actioning CofC's at all, which they should be doing as if they were new claims).Personally my last reassessment WCA was back in Sep 2018 when I was still on ESA. (Awarded WRAG Goup again).
I haven't had another one since then.
I voluntary migrated myself to UC with LCW element at the end of 2021, but with the currrent backlog situation I am fully expecting to reach State Pension Age next February without ever getting a UC50. (Although it's the sort of stupid thing that the UC computer just might do).I do know someone who also has ESA WRAG and got an ESA50 for reassessment over 18 months ago, she completed it and sent it in. She has heard nothing more and still hasn't been given an appointment for a WCA yet.1
