Update: I got my outcome this afternoon, I have been put on LCWRA , I am so happy. Will I get any backpay from this? I handed my three month fit note in April and it's due to run out in a few weeks time.

Didn't you already have LCW before this? If you did and you actually reported changes to your health condition which prompted a review then the extra money will be from the assessment period in which you reported the changes.

If it was a review started by UC (I don't think it was because you were providing fit notes) then the extra money is paid from the assessment period in which the decision was made. Either way, there's no waiting period for you.
Hi Poppy, yes, I was on LCW before this and ok, thank you for letting me know.

    H. I need some advice, I just got this on my Universal Credit Journal this afternoon and most of you aware that I got awarded LCWRA on Monday, but I am confused, because I thought I don't get backpay, but I am getting backpay of £800, can this be correct or a mistake? as I don't want to spend the money and pay it back.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

LCWRA element will be paid from the assessment period in which you reported the changes so yes some money will be owed. When it's paid from will depend on what date you reported those changes.

I reported the changes in April, that is when I uploaded my three month fit note, so is it correct then?

Can someone please tell me why the admin removed my picture? what was wrong with it? I edited and removed my personal details, so I don't understand why it was removed? I am confused.

Yes, you will be owed 2 months LCWRA element, which is correct. If the LCWRA element wasn't included on your statement for this month, then you'll be owed money for that too.

Can't answer why something was removed. It doesn't matter now anyway because I answered your question. I did advise a couple of days ago that it would be paid from when you reported the changes.

Hi, I need some advice. I got awarded LCWRA last year (17th April) and a review date was set 14 months, but I haven't had my review form yet, I am just wondering if the assessments has been put on hold for the time being? as I need to keep an eye on my post as I don't always check my post box every day and I don't want to miss the form and I don't want to lose this LCWRA as nothing has changed, in fact, things have gone worse for me since I got awarded it.

Any advice would be great thank you.

There's a backlog and i've read that reviews are largely on hold at the moment. I was put into the Support Group with a 12 month prognosis (review date) at around the same time as you were placed in LCWRA (the UC equivalent of the ESA Support Group) and I've yet to be sent an ESA50 (or even a UC50 as i've now migrated to UC as well as still receiving conts based / new-style ESA). We'll get a review form at some point in the future but when that will be is impossible to guess at this stage.
