Morning all1 degree outside, will it warm up soon I wonder?! Hens fed, fire poked and roaring again, I’ve brought a cuppa back to bed.
I was meant to see my uncle today but he’s had exactly the same reaction as CoG to the Shingles vaccine so we’ve postponed. Lots of paid stuff to do, I also need to sweep up the kitchen.Round that is very odd, I hope you get answers today sweetie.
Have fab days all xx8 -
Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, sploshed bleach down the loo, (just to add some variety to my morning 🤣), packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and I'm supping a brew.
I'm so pleased for Mr piggers and for you too, piggers. 😘
So, my week so far:
Sunday - sewerage
Monday- survey
Tuesday - suspicious activity on med rec
🤔 surely something surprisingly special should surface soon (see what I did there? 🤓).
I'm going to have a bash at Wordle and Connections, and I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
Have a good day

Ah CoG i was going to tell you about NHS records, but Round has done. DD also works in the NHS and has told me this… so somebody has been very stupid to do that; especially as these things are traceable.
I spent part of yesterday stripping down the work shredder and cleaning it. Fingers crossed it will work. I also had to take the Aged Peas to nurse appointments as my niece was stuck in traffic. All the ironing has been done. I went for a walk with my friend as we are both hoping to improve our stamina.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all, and many congratulations to Mr Pigpen x
Hope your week improves, round. No doubt you'll be onto HR as soon as they get into the office. Fingers crossed that the snooper gets what is due to them - and I certainly don't mean your personal info! x
Last night's library talk by a local author was excellent. She has a wonderful sense of humour and there was lots of laughter. Just what I needed. And I grabbed 2 books off the library shelves to keep me going this week. Maybe I could join Jazee and Fayolle on a Read-A-Book-In-A-Day challenge...
I've completed Wordle in 3but am stuck on the green and blue Connections
ETA: I've done it now
Today's plan includes:
- strip and remake beds (with help from DH, though he doesn't know it yet)
- WMx3 (at least) and hang out while it's breezy and sunny
- collect meds
- post 2 letters
- do a top-up shop at the C00p
- walk Rosie
- buy some wool pellets to deter the slugs from adding any more frills to my hostas
- declutter more paperwork, including from the filing cabinet
No doubt I'll think of other things to do as the day progresses.
Sounds like breakfast is ready, so I'll sign off for now and wish you all a good day xxx

Squeak went to her school meeting.. she is going to try to go to her maths lesson tomorrow with an 'emotional support person' henceforth referred to as ESP .. They were going to just throw her in the classroom and I advocated for her some support and we worked around members of staff who were available and how that fit in with her timetable.. and she has another ESP for Mondays maths lesson so we shall see how she gets on.. hopefully the ESP will enable her to access learning and this will give her the chance to re-engage fully with the curriculum.. I am mighty boring sometimes.TD stuff folded and slowly making its way upstairs.1cat tray and the kitchen bin emptied..1 items packaged to post.. Well done MrPI too has a renewal come through for a building I own else where in the UK, it state I 'might' be under insured, but did not offer a new quote of how much under I 'might' be, or what a new improved preimun might be, so email sent and asked questions. I really don't want to be under insured.Google search done for new to me car 2 seats. 'used cars 2 seats near (large local city), google true to form came up with one or two ideas, one of which seemd too good to be true, I thought I would ring them up for a test drive, on further search, said car was actually in East Kilbride, nothing wrong with E K, except it is about 380 miles away. So that wil lbe a no then, also I have no budget, for a new to me car atm.Kitchen doneLounge hoovered again, cat hair.Small shop doneCold here yet again, but sun is sort of out, between the rain showers.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

No reply received from HR. Not impressed. I'll give them til lunchtime tomorrow then I'm ringing PALS as a patient.
RANT ALERT
All hell breaking loose at work. Payslips out. No parking charge deducted for some people...including me. Email received to say it's because if they deducted it from our wages we'd be being paid below minimum wage!!! So they want us to ring and pay by debit card instead 🤔. Because that makes it OK then does it? The Service is going to be very understaffed when I take my Annual Leave in May - with one planned sickness and one unplanned sickness. And no-one knows if the supervisor will be back at work or not. Once upon a time I would have offered to move my Leave. Not any more. They can toot. Spits dummy out!
I needed to get that off my chest. It feels like not only do the powers that be 💩 on us from a great height, they then have to rub it in our faces. If I didn't need to pay the bills I'd whistle-blow to the press. I'm hoping someone else does it for me.
Flying? I put the bin out ready to be emptied tomorrow. And I've unpacked my lunch bag. And put on my scruffs. And made a coffee.
Now I need to calm down before I have a coronary 🤬
Cheer me up. Tell me good stuff. Pretty please.

Hi roundtuit. I understand your frustration with the pay slip, the fault is with the minimum wage regulations. I used to work in payroll and we had to stop deducting everything, staff social fund, rent, staff lottery etc. even though we had permission from the staff as the inspectors for the minimum wage checks said it took their pay below minimum wage. We also had to refund quite a lot of money even though the staff had received the benefit.
But some good stuff is that you are a lovely, hardworking, caring person and enjoy having a quiet time with a drink of choice to calm you down.
You will soon be on leave.

Hi allPigpen fantastic news! So happy for him, and you x
Sorry to hear the paid stuff is a bit rubbish Round. And thanks for the kind words CofG it has put me on a bit of a downer if I am honest as I take a lot of pride in doing my job well. Then again its not like I am going to get the sack, I still don't know all the facts but it's hardly going to bankrupt the company.
DH has had a 1.5 hour PIP phone assessment, which in all likelihood will be a waste of time. I have done a long day at the paid stuff, sorted the clean washing and done some ironing, then hoovered and mopped the bits that didn't get done yesterday. I might go and do some yoga, I cycled to work and back and my legs are achy.
Oh speaking if cycling remember me saying I was too scared to join the local cycling club. I have sent an email asking how it all works. Haven't booked on a ride yet but it's the first (big) step!9
