Fab news, Piggers! He must be made up.
Busy day, chundered through my list. Hair cut, bed changed, washing done and dried outside, HH paperwork x 3 done (there just might have been a bit of a backlog to work through), bathrooms proper cleaned, upstairs dusted and vacuumed. Did the grocery order tonight so that’s sorted for Thursday.
YL, don’t fret, but I know you will because you are conscientious. You can’t be everywhere, all the time.
Round - really?? I hope there is a good explanation.6 -
Starts on Monday.. he seems very pleased.

Huge congratulations to Mr Pigpen! I'm so happy for you both because if he's happy in his work, you will be too. Marvellous news. All the laundry has now been put away, tomato plants shuffled to the outside world, thoroughly watered and put back indoors when it was getting dark. They're going in a sheltered spot but it's still far too cold for them. Must pot up the broadbeans. The courgettes are very weak and pathetic, but if two plants survive that'll be better than I've ever done before. All the new herbs were gasping for water so they're now thoroughly drenched, along with the lobelia that badly needs planting out. Thank goodness geraniums are tough as old boots because they've been waiting around for three weeks to be planted. They're all on my mind nagging me but it's so wretchedly cold out there I don't want to do it.Mountains of paperwork sorted and dealt with, YHA booked for one night post funeral somewhere rather lovely so if I can get in an eight mile walk the day after on the way home I'll be very happy indeed. Tiny dent made in the Room of Doom. I'm going to have to dust miles of bookshelves at some point over the next week and I am not looking forward to that because, if I'm being strictly honest, they haven't been done for at least eight yars. Bad Flylady Honey Bear.Better is good enough.7

CoG - there are very strict rules around data confidentiality. No-one should go into any record without good reason, or without consent. I'm not allowed to access my own record or those of close family. We have to take mandatory Information Governance training and update every year.
There is no reason why anyone should have gone into my record yesterday. Since the System Administrator has told me that I need to follow the correct pathway for legal reasons I'm assuming that there has been a breach of confidentiality. I was hoping it was something innocent such as my GP going in to send out a Wellbeing appointment or some such that I know nothing about. But with the SA ringing me and telling me to contact HR I'm guessing this is not the case. I'm still hoping for a reasonable explanation. If there isn't one someone is in trouble. Serious trouble.
Most disconcerting.
And breathe.....
Time for bed. Sweet dreams everyone.

Well done Mr Pigpen, great news.
Roundtuit that doesn't sound good.
- DW on
- went gym swimming
- booked some work to be done on car which was advised at last service (new brake discs at about £300+)
- got home to find Mr N had done what I'd planned i.e. vacuumed downstairs all rooms. Gold star for him.
- after a lot of backwards and forwards with emails to sort out a query, last week's assessment report is finished and sent off. So far not bounced back (which seems to happen intermittently).
- ordered new answer books for assessments. I need to be careful as I won't get a vast amount of work before I finish and the booklets come in packs of 25 which cost anything between 60-130 per pack. Plus if I don't spend £150 (excluding VAT), I have to pay for postage of £10; I'm so used to getting it free as I usually need to order 2 packs of most tests to stock up.
- downloaded bank statement for the last tax year and started preparing my spreadsheet for tax return.
- went to church group.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Great new about Mr. Pigpen. It is great when you can find a job you like.
